  1. One thing that I notice that a lot of Youtubers fail to do is check the center diff temperature. When I upgraded to a 1650 on my Kraton 6s…the center diff temp. Got up to 265 after two hard runs ..so I upgraded to the metal diffs to dissipate heat more..and I bet it was your rear diff that was heating up that may have caused the melting..that heat does transfer to the driveshaft..got a burn from one once…

  5. Earl if that’s melted I think that squeal might be input bearing or just looks melted bc rocks , I agree 8s is so counter productive especially in the dirt , it’s good for speed runs roosters and frying diffs 😂

  6. Everyone wants to run their rigs on 19s but it’s just not practical in most scenarios. I’m a big fan of 4s and 6s. We don’t need to go that fast. I end up just spinning the tires and not going anywhere on 8s. Thanks for the info Earl 😘😘

  7. That fly that was messing with you at the track was only there because the B-16 was attracting it… you know what flies are attracted to 💩… Ok, that was a little harsh… but come on… I’m sure when you are done upgrading it it will be fine😳.

  8. Finally a glitch-free run on the track! Do you think you will still have enough control authority in the air to pull the nose up when you step back down to 6S with the battery tray in the forward position?

  9. Backflips .. hands down the strongest performing rubbers of any main brand for 6 to 8s bashing on these terrains for sure . Not sure what corally calls their iteration but those are a bit softer compound and may tear on 8s (that being said I've had no problems with them in the Kronos xtr on 6s) . I've been curious how the new esc from spectrum stacks up to the corally Torox185 hmm…

  10. I am sorry Earl but your statement about motors don't care how much voltage you put through them is totally incorrect. Not sure how many basher know this, but KV x Volts = RPM…….If you put 22.2v in a 4600KV motor you will get 102120 rpm…and a melt down lol. Oh and yeah rocks are hard ROFLMAO

  11. Bought a fireteam chassis roller early this summer to use with a ⅐ scale truck body. This is probably close to how my creation wouldve turned out…

Do you think upgraded CVDs all around would help with a rig this heavy?

That's what I have in my Typhon build & plans on installing some on my Talion EXB Build.

    Thanks!

  12. The amount of thought and work you do earl, is amazing, I don’t come to watch the rc as much as I come to hear you talk about the problems and good points of an rc, always tell it like it is, I appreciate that, thanks for not being biased and speaking truth about the rcs you do get, keep pushing that envelope and happy RCing my friend

  13. I appreciate your critical look at these RC vehicles…Even if i don't have whatever model you are testing there is still a lot that applies to all vehicles…Stuff that I might miss or never even notice since we all drive differently and develop our own repair/maintenance issues…Thank you and please don't let fanboys crying about you being hard on their favorite brand/vehicle hold you back from saying what's up
