  17. I caught my first gold eye on minnow under a bobber, floating a deep hole behind a lowhead dam, in a waterway 1/10th the size your fishing. Was shocked. Also caught American eel and my first 2 dub(20Lbs) flatheads this summer.

  21. I got to get me an 1880 to fish from.. crazy that you build rods n make baits so do I and I have a paracord wrapped rod that I made I build rods make plastics, sinkers, jig heads and feather jigs.. crazy someone out there doing the same things

  30. I had a great night last night. Went to the river and pounded them. Got two 2-3lb flathead, and 6 2-5lb channels. They were all smaller, so they ended up in my fridge. Probably my best trip this year, I haven't had a lot of chances to go, but since Saturday is my birthday it worked out and had an awesome night. Got to watch a probably 40lb flathead chase bait fish through 6" of water, too bad he didn't bite.
