  1. I only buy physical, don’t care for renting access to games. The only people who benefit from digital sales are the corporation’s, they get to pocket all the money you spend on a game and literally give you nothing in return but internet access to a game for as long as they choose to keep it in their library.

  2. Some foreign news channel was reporting on Ex Japanese PM Abe's assassination and showed a photo of the person who shot him and….Used photos of Kojima as the assassin….LOL… Somebody is getting fired at that channel

  3. I don’t really know how it works but there needs to be a law that states that bought digital content is owned and can forever be accessed by the buyer.
I own 2 Xbox One games on disc and 800 games digitally. I’d be furious if they started removing them.

  4. I'm tired of hearing about nintendo upgrades. I'll believe it when I see it. Yes I know it's inevitable but there's no reason to believe it's coming soon.

  5. It's cheaper for me to get my games digital from the Xbox store because the shop prices are farkn rediculous prices and I ain't keen to lug around physical discs at all that was yesterday were in the age of digital now days

  6. Now that is out of the way.
What is really coming from Nintendo next is the following
The white docks are getting a new attachment launching alongside BOTW2 to boost AMD visuals graphics enhancent.
Also Oled lites are launching alonside Pikmin 4. So consoles will be in red, yellow, and blue.
An all digital oled switch model is coming as well.
This one is probably launching along side Prime remake.
July has wave 2 kart 8 tracks.
Aug or sept has Golden Eye coming to all consoles in one form or another.
The rumored DK game features Kongo Bongos so keep hype in check for that one.

  7. It doesn't matter much if you buy the physical copy. What matters is the terms of the license. The main benefit of the physical copy is that the license key is on a read-only medium, and that the system allows the license to be verified when presented via that medium. They can easily keep a server running that authenticates the license so that you can't ever say the dog ate the disc.

What you'll find is that many games will still require you to go online at least once to download patches, updates, etc that were never included on disc. Furthermore, the platform holder can easily make it so that the platform itself has to connect to the internet periodically to ensure that it's not compromised, or to run newer games that have some security changes.

People jist don't realize that physical games is already dead. These days physical media is merely the ability to transfer a license. The game itself may or may not even be on the disc, and it's easy to simply download the game and keep a copy on a HDD, heck, you can even have a backup, unlike having the disc.
