Coromon was a fun game i really like the shiny variants come in tiers and also upgrade in usefulness as well not just asthetics! Bought this game a while ago on steam and enjoy it quite a lot, right up there with cassette beasts for me!

This was such a positive surprise! Super happy for them and will try to get one. I love getting monster taming games in physical if I can. I hope Cassette Beasts and Moonstone Island will go physical too.
And yet they still can't manage to get Nintendo to update their game. They are 2 updates behind for God's sake!

I had fun with the game close to the end but had not pick it up for years now. Am not very good at playing games to the end i jump around to much.
Definitely picking up physical been waiting to play. Just sucks that Limited run takes so long says expected ship time is Sept but it'll be more Nov-Jan probably
About the story overhaul Update:
Is there a way to block the game from updating itself? Because I stopped playing Coromon quite a while back and I don't want it to be a scattershot 1/3 old 2/3 new story experience.

I think I'm fine with just having the digital copy. In terms of your other questions I did play through the game a second time jut to see what they did with the story and I thought it was really well done. Like it didn't make this a 10 out of 10 Undertale level narrative or anything but plot events definitely felt more coherent and the final area felt like an actual final area instead of just a slapped together short dungeon with almost no buildup.

And the news of a physical game saddens me because I already got it for the switch. While I'm not against double dipping games (already did it for some), I don't want to buy the same game for the same platform. I know that they couldn't do it when the game was released but only collectors will grab want it now.

I bought it on steam and switch. Really bummed that the switch version isn’t the latest version because I think it’s the perfect switch game and i really don’t want to start a new game

I do own the other game, but hearing that the physical version is getting an update, I'll make sure to grab the physical version too.
