I also really appreciate the research and time you've taken to share this with us! You're like our Photog News Station – "Breaking news"! Merry Christmas to you and all of your family!
Zillow's 3D software is still trash, unfortunately. I continuously send them feedback about their software limitations. The inability to do even the most basic editing like white balance and blurring items in photos (like PII or signs) makes it useless at times for me.
I been wanting to add Virtual Tours and Floor Plans to my packages, so for that reason I have been doing a ton research…Anything I should about the free virtual tours Zillow is offering through their app? Just started this business in November and I have actually just ordered the camera I need to make this happen…
Thank you!
Thanks for the insight for 2023. I will stay connected with your videos for for news.
Thanks for sharing this info! I was concerned about Matterport's acquisition of VHT studios, and now have to worry about zillow too! 😦 I helped zillow beta test the 3d tours when they started and have since shot hundreds, was zillow certified and feeling like a complete tool right about now🤦♂
Do not work for any of these companies like Zillow, Obeo, Matterport, etc
Thanks for this.
Great! Had not heard about this till now. This is my first year in RE Photography. I've invested, studied hard, and have been practicing just as hard to put out the best product/service that I can. I will continue to do just that. Thank you Nathan for your time and valuable insight.
Relying on huge corporations is everyone’s first mistake
Thank you so much for the important info!
Always such great content! Thank you for taking the time and effort to put this together! Happy Holidays
On LinkedIn they’re advertising for photographers for Zillow. I applied to one in another city to see what they are going to pay photographers. also, I have a couple of major issues with Zillow. First they don’t allow anyone to have logos on their photos. That’s my intellectual property that’s copyrighted. Second, I never gave Zillow permission to use my photos and they are all over the place on Zillow. They may see the writing on the wall on those issues.
Legit just saw job listing for Photographers from Zillow (Showtime+) in St. Louis and Kansas City… absolutely crazy. Thanks for sharing.
This sounds like Audible’s voice over program. Another race to the bottom in the name of profit.
As always Nathan thank you so very much for all your hard work. This industry would not be the same with our you.
Thanks!!!
Whatever zillow does, if you are the best (or one of) photographer around, you will get hired no matter what. My top realtors do so much more marketing outside of Zillow. They have social followings of many thousands of people, and other realtors – and a listing spreads through that like wildfire. They advertise in digital publications and magazines etc. They could probably do it all without zillow. Yes, these are the top realtors, but if you are one of the best in your area, that is who will hire you, zillow or not. Top realtors have a brand, and a look to uphold. Get them hooked on your photos and they won't go anywhere else. Nathan is right – strive to be the best, and offer everything you can and the kitchen sink.
Great video!
Great video, thank you for shedding light on this
Great information man. Thanks for this info. I’ve had my head in the clouds so resources like this are so valuable. Thanks
