  1. We were Annual Pass holders in the "before" time and gave them up when everything went nuts. We plan to stay out at least two more years and then hoping things will return to semi-normal by then. Exploring the other theme parks in the mean time.

  2. I always get depressed listening to this blog. I still listen then I leave my office walk around New York City where my office is and say I’m not going to Disney and make my life worse

  3. My husband and I will be downgrading our passes. Disney is just another theme park hosting generic franchises. We know it's lost its sparkle and we've had annual passes since the day they were offered.

  4. Is there anything left that we love that they can destroy in the name of DVC? Perhaps we can save Disney some time and create the short list of beloved things that still exist, so they know what to demolish next to put up more DVC rooms.

  5. I have been to Disney World over 75 times, and it has been one of my favorite places to visit.
Disney has lost me as a customer. I don’t care to support corporations that shove their wokeness down my throat.

  6. Thanks for all the updates! Lots going on. I wish they’d get rid of the park reservations systems. We were there for 2 weeks in August 2021 and was almost impossible to get a reservation for Rise of the Resistance. On our last scheduled HS day it was do or die and we finally got a res in the 1pm booking time. So guess I’ll wait awhile till Tron dies down.
How can they ruin Poly more? Ugh. With the DVC cash cow! It’s pretty much taken over the resort much like WL with only a fraction of the rooms left for non DVC.

  7. Distinct lack of theming in the new restaurants. I guess if Disney can bring in third party restaurants they can charge them to be there so the whole of Disney just becomes the same as any other upscale resort, and completely dumps the Disney magic. Ho hum, its been great DisneyWorld but I think Tokyo Disney will be getting my money in the future.

  8. Omg I’m so glad you guys came to Indy!! My absolute favorite cake of hers is her southern style caramel cake. It is legit the best caramel cake I’ve ever had and I get it for my birthday every year in November! Her restaurants are worth the experience!

  9. Anything that enhances a guest's experience at Disney? Takes forever. Anything than enhances Disney's revenue? Fast-tracked. Company priorities: Executive salaries, Board member compensation, and large shareholder satisfaction. Secondary considerations: Customer satisfaction, low level employee compensation. Brought to you by the people who really run America.

  11. A proposed DVC resort at The Polynesian? 😃 I’m here for it! We’ve stayed at many different resorts at Disney as vacation club members but can’t seem to book a stay there. Even within our 11 months booking window. Maybe me and the fam can finally book an affordable stay at our home resort 😐

  12. Well, that sucks! I was planning on spending 12/6 at Magic Kingdom until closing, as in, watching the fireworks. Now I have to find something else to do. That's a huge charge for an after hour party especially for folks already paying for a regular park ticket. to add insult to injury, that's my birthday, so much for enjoying my 50th at Magic Kingdom.
