  1. Tribe was the number one title I was soooo bummed to not see continued. Honestly I was not a fan of the art at first, though I grew to love it, but the story and characters won me over.

  2. I actually ordered a HYPE CLUB hat, wore it a lot at the time. Then it stayed in the back of a closet so long it grew mold so it probably got trashed when my mom finally sold her house a few years ago lol
If I'd know you wanted one I'd have kept t nice and clean and sold it to you for hundreds haha

Didn't know there was a fourth/Zero issue but I still have the others.

  3. Howard Chaykins American Flagg was the comic that did it for me..the art was sick! Leather booted chicks, T & A everywhere, etc. Lol, but seriously, that comic was so ahead of its time visually and story arch. One of my favorites till this day!

  4. I absolutely loved hulk grand design. I’ve been collecting hulk for over 30yrs and your book brought me back to those younger days. I remember when and where I read these stories. Thank you Jim Rugg!

  5. I remember those comics, and I have that 1st issue, but why would you put the Kardashians name in your title…those are fake asses. The drawings in those comics were inspired by real big asses.

  6. Damn this brings back memories. When I was a kid I used to go to Todd Johnson's comic book shop with my big brother when this came out. It was called Comics Cafe in Ferndale Michigan right on 9 mile rd. I was 13 and my brother was an art student at CCS in Detroit at the time at actually did some promo work for Tribe as Todd's way of looking out for a young black artist. No 🧢 And we were literally there every week. That whole era, Jim Lee X-Men, McFarlane Spider-Man #1, Dan Jurgens Superman run ,Image. Great times in comics. I remember Todd getting Alex Ross to come to Comics Cafe for a meet and greet when Kingdom Come came out. Shop closed not to long after that. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  7. I like Stoman’s art work as well, but you can find this book everywhere. Every comic store in the world has this book. I have two of the black and gold cover and one white and gold cover. Obviously it didn’t do very well since Axis comics and Zero G comics picked up the series.
