Biden: West Bank settlers ‘pouring gasoline on fire’ as Israel prepares for Gaza ground invasion

US president calls for end to attacks by West Bank settlers and accuses Hamas of hiding behind civilians in Gaza, but that Israel also must follow the ‘laws of war’. Speaking at a joint press conference with the Australian prime minister, Anthony Albanese, the president said US support for Israel’s defence was ironclad, but criticised the treatment of Palestinians in the West Bank by some Israelis.

  1. He says Hamas is not a representation of the people of Gaza. But chooses to support the annihilation of the Palestinian people. “Some innocent people have likely been killed” THOUSANDS HAVE BEEN KILLED. Disrespectful. Disgraceful. Ashamed to be associated with a country that supports the genocide of other people

  2. Over 3000 children now confirmed killed in Gaza …. The International community has to urgently address this on collective conscience… STOP Now Our UK and US politicians have been useless in trying to prevent this growing disaster..this is tantamount to allowing this to happen.

  4. I'm glad to see you standing up against some of the violence on the Israel side as well, because it has been far worse than what Hamas has done, through all of the past several decades and more. Historical facts show the truth. I believe the numbers of deaths of Palestinians are far higher than that of Israeli people in the current Israeli invasion as well as all the others in the past few decades. It is very clear who the invader is and that the Palestinians have been hurt the most, as is what has provoked the Hamas attacks.
