Biden pledges US, ally commitment to Ukraine during speech in Poland

President Joe Biden, returning on Feb. 21 to the Polish castle where he spoke shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine last year, said the war had hardened Western resolve to defend democracy around the globe.

He warned that there were “hard and bitter days ahead,” but pledged that the United States and its allies would “have Ukraine’s back” as the war enters its second year.

  1. Insane rhetoric. Instead of finding diplomatic solutions to end this stupid war, we get more dangerous rhetoric.
    People need to wake up. Nobody wins a nuclear war.
    There's no hiding from a two megaton thermonuclear detonation over your city. Nothing will survive.
    People need to protest this crazy warmongering from the Whitehouse. People need to say no to enabling more war.
    Why is the mainstream media just going along with the program and not asking the serious questions or doing the in-depth investigative journalism?
    Why are the people not being informed of the real dangers of this insane Whitehouse policy?

  3. In 20017, 60,000 Polish nationalists and neo-Nazis marched through central Warsaw. Polish ruling party, Law and Justice, welcomed and encouraged the march as a “patriotic” action. Polish police, once trained to protect the public against neo-fascists, this time arrested 50 members of a pro-democracy group that staged a counter-protest, though they did nothing to stop “patriots” from beating up another group of counter-protesters. Supporting neo-Nazism has become the accepted norm in the UK, EU etc. In goosestep with the corporate-controlled US. In 2016 the US banned weapons to Ukraine militia linked to neo-Nazis. In 2017 the US lifted the ban.

  15. Joe Biden's cognitive abilities clearly leave something to be desired. In his speech in Poland, he once again muddled his way through. And this man wants to serve another term? Then the tank busters might as well move into the White House.
