Biden ‘hands over’ Ukraine to Trump | Ukraine This Week

“President Joe Biden took stock of the country’s foreign policy for the last time as President of the United States. In the speech, he defended his approach to the war in Ukraine: de-escalation and incremental action. Has the United States succeeded in uniting the world in defense of Ukraine, as Joe Biden had envisioned from the beginning of the full-scale war?

The Biden administration has provided $65.9 billion in military aid to Ukraine since Moscow launched its full-scale invasion, making it the largest donor in absolute terms. The outgoing president has warned that the U.S. and its allies cannot afford to stop supporting Ukraine. What will that support look like after January 20?”

  1. Biden reminded me of jimmy carter. I was in the navy and we sat out in the Red Sea for nine months doing nothing but looking intimidating while hostages suffered for what amounted to a year. Ronald Reagan took over and cleaned that up fast by asking Iran this question. “Do you feel lucky punk?” A day or two later we had our hostages back. I bet Trump can’t do that with Ukraine . 🤔

  2. If Ukraine receives any help and support from Donald Trump, know that behind the scenes Donald Trump will be working overtime to do 1000x the damage to Ukraine. Donald Trump is not your ally. Donald Trump want's to destroy you.

  3. Seeing Biden say, 'There's more to do' after bragging about what they did makes me angry.
Yes, there was so much more you should have done instead of trickling 'Just enough' to get by.
I'm an American, I can say that!
This war should be in the 'mop up' phase by now except for FEAR and allowing Putin to push him around and intimidate him.

I'm tired of hearing what Ruzzia wants. Ruzzia needs to be worrying about what Ukraine and the West want and what they'll leave for them.

  4. Another fact is that the Biden administration has done the preliminary work with fighting the Ukraine/Russia war by using sanctions and other forms of non combative political pressures against Russia. This has not been totally successful on all fronts but it has been effective and helpful. Russia today is decimated and on the verge of collapse. Look at what recently happened to them in Syria. Russia is militarily and economically weakened severely. Now, the more aggressive physical approaches can likely be used and be successful with less risk of WW3.

  5. This drone and cyber warfare is a revolutionary game changer in warfare, equivalent to advancements in firearms and artillery during the Crimean and American civil war, or the introduction of aviation, and tanks during WW2. With an equivalent increase in bloodshed. Those regimes that have the greatest capacity to adapt, and defend against these innovations will prevail.

  8. Europe absolutely must do more – but can this programme notice that the UK is again leading the way and has just visited Kiev, signed a further strong agreement, pledged more weapons including 150 artillery barrels to be delivered within weeks.  You need to HEADLINE this so that it brings pressure to bear on Europe and encourages Trump.

  9. Trump will only save Ukraine, when he either get richer doing it, or can twist it into a political win for himself, regardless of ukraine survives or not, he does not care only if it affects his bank account!
