Shadowgate was my favorite game of its type for the NES, and I got the remastered version for PC a few years ago. Love that game to this day, and I'm very much looking forward to this sequel.
Well I'm beyond excited. I remember in the 90s my brother and I getting the first game from a pawn shop, and having him play because I was too scared lol
There WAS a "Beyond Shadowgate" made back in 1993 on the TG16 Super CD-Rom system. I used to own it & it was made by Icom Simulations. Just be aware using the same title might cause some issues. Game looks great BTW.
How neat! I'm an early 2000's kid and not an 80's but I did grow up with Shadowgate. Also, isn't there already a game called Beyond Shadowgate? And you sure that whole sequel can fit into one cartridge? Oh well, I'm not an expert. But it would be neat to own. I have bought the NES cartridge version of Micro Mages (2019) earlier.
This was a really pleasant surprise! When I saw the GrahfMetal Games logo I was even more excited. Their previous works (Infested and especially Spectacle) are absolutely fantastic. I am super hyped for this.
I can't believe I'm going to support the original co-creator of one of my favorites games as a kid so he can work on a sequel. What a time to be alive.
Oh, niiice! I loved Shadowgate as a kid, on my Amiga and I'm looking very much forward to a sequel. I always hoped you would release a remake of "Uninvited" some day, but I'll take an entirely new game with pleasure as well.😁
I'm in. Helped kickstart the other Shadowgate game as well. The original NES game is still one of those nostalgia classics I love to revisit. And that music!!!
So, I love the idea of this upcoming release, but I already played Beyond Shadowgate on Turbografx-Super CD rom in 1993 from ICOM. Is this a retelling of that same game? Does this game make the original Beyond Shadowgate non-cannon?
Killer! One of my favorite games when I was growing up. Definitely backing this project. Would love to be able to get something signed from the creators…
I am wayyy hyped for this. I love Shadowgate 64 but I always felt like we needed a sequel in the style of the first one. Any hope of a VR edition of Shadowgate 64? Any of the other games that never came to fruition from back in the day maybe get considered for sequels. Or a VR experience of the original game? Done in 8 bit style? I'm not trying to be annoying. It's just I love this series and it's great to see it having a resurgence.
Glad to see you guys are doing so well on Kickstarter. I backed it. Was wondering if there were any plans to have this available on the PlayStation store?

That soundtrack is bangin
The music sounds awesome, I was happy to hear how perfectly the sound design captures the vibe of the original.
Super cool! Time for me to go back and play the first one again

Wait, did I understand correctly that you are releasing this on NES?!?
Why the same title as the TGCD version? Was it an unofficial sequel?

Beyond shadowgate already came out a long time ago
Sign me up, this looks awesome
I love Shadowgate and I definitely want to play this one, but Uninvited is way overdo for some love too.
I found this through Adventure game Hotspot and I'm happy that i did. Very excited.
Release a playable cartridge version for the NES/SNES and I'd be all over this.

If you need help porting this to a Macintosh Plus and go really full circle on the original platform, I can give pointers
Fuck, when will it launch

I just backed the game. I'm so excited
Looks awesome! Your audience is on Nintendo Switch, though, not on PC.
Just downloaded the demo, looking forward to trying it out.

Loved both the NES port of the original version and the 2014 remake. So glad to hear this series getting more love. 😀
