Beware Those In Jerusalem | Acts 21

The eternal stakes are simply too high for Christians to stand down in the world of lost souls and distorted narratives. The Apostle Paul bravely demonstrates being willing to give your life for the call of the Gospel in Acts 21 this week – and it raises questions regarding the battle between our comfort and our calling. As Jesus is the center point for all of human history, so should our devotion and our obedience to Him be the center of our daily lives.

  1. If you see this john, can you ever touch in turn the other cheek and welcome your own death and the killing or tyranny over innocent Christians? I lve been a Christian without a home for many years. I want to thank you for reinvigorating my spirit.

  2. Dear @Pastor John Lovell:

With Love: Theoden is a better King than Aragorn. There… I said the thing… I can go to my fathers… in whose mighty company… I shall not now be ashamed.

PS: We appreciate you! Prayers for you and yours. I hope to visit your congregation one day soon!

  3. John, do you think you could go through the immediate response which people should have the power going out? My concern is mostly for farmers who have cows to milk, and people who are desperate for food. Some prophetic speakers are saying we may be seeing lengthy blackouts in November.

  4. John, thank you for sharing this message, and even though it wasnt till the end that forgiveness was really mentioned, for some reason that was what the Lord was putting on my heart and for some reason I feel Im supposed to share this.
When I was 9 years old, my 21 year old brother was murdered by his girlfriend. He was my big brother and a hero to me. After that for almost 2 decades, I struggled with anger and an inability to forgive anyone for almost anything. That ultimately led to divorce from a cheating wife and financial ruin which wasnt easy on my 3 children.
I was totally unable to forgive for all those years and was a miserable person to be around. I made life hell for the people around me. Then 1 day I realized that if the Lord could wash clean my sins and I was absolutely a foul sinner, I must forgive the one that killed my brother. In the eyes of the Lord, isnt all sin equally an affront? We were both doomed to a brutal eternity without Salvation thru Jesus. Now I have forgiven her and I realized that Jesus didnt want me to forgive her for her benefit, it was to heal ME. Jesus became my great physician that healed my broken heart and allowed me seek forgiveness from those that I was cold or hateful to. Jesus can literally fix ANYTHING. Of course we are still gonna suffer but with Jesus, we can do it with a grateful spirit knowing we are only here a short time and he has prepared a place for us. Praise the Lord Jesus.

  5. Rape is wrong, war or not, IDF or anyone else.
    Its wrong.
Its a VERY complicated subject but 1 thing is for sure- we should never hate an entire group for a small number inside of that groups behavior. Dont throw the baby out with the bath water. Thats the difference between actual racism and just noticing bad stuff.

  6. Ugh, not sure my history is correct but Shugart and Gordan went in to secure the second crash site and protect the Aircrew. By far the most amazing feat of heroism on par with the sacrifice of Christ. If their sacrifice could have cleansed my sin that day it would have.

  7. I’m so confused….. what is going on John???? When did you become a “preacher”?? Not sure how I feel about this Lol I’ve followed you for years and years, I know all about your religion. Just had no idea THIS was in the plans? 🤷‍♂️ cool I guess.

  8. Awesome sermon. I am not sure if the Paris thing was actually supposed to be a recreation of the painting. There were more than 12 people on the stage. Still very demonic, but I think the church is fighting back against it more than we should be. We are showing the world that we hate those who are not like us.

  9. I’m so glad you were mentioned on Bards FM last week. I immediately looked you up as my husband lived in Rome for a couple of years. I then saw your interview with Shawn Ryan and enjoyed hearing about your life. God works in mysterious ways. You make learning the Bible so much easier. Thank you and God Bless! 🙏💜

  10. I quit a job that i was in due to the conditions of the job and a coworker . But i asked myself? Did i really quit because of that? The word sayd to endure, to keep the fight! Rest and get back in the fight!Dont give up ! This world will try to break you. So thats my experience in that.

  11. Weird to see a pastor somehow support & defend israel…maybe there’s a reason every religion, and cultures around the world don’t like jews, a religion that he shows has killed our prophets, our brothers and currently actively working against America and Christians

  12. Hi there, a question out of ignorance….why is Jesus King? Sorry, I’m that uninformed; my simple understanding (from childhood) is God, Jesus then Holy Spirit (in rank order)…so God would be king? Thanks in advance for clarification. 🙏
