I actually bought the game while watching. Even if I don't end up loving the game now, I really wanna support this genre when it looks like there's a glimmer of hope for the development.
If it don't have modding, then no, it won't be better than zomboid

I really can't get into these games because they don't even try to be realistic with loot etc. (or combat, lol screwdriver on Zombies)

This game and project zomboid are insanely well done!
Its better in a lot of ways, BUT there is no replayability. One map and the randomization is lacking and so is the goal. There is no goal.

I cant stand project zomboids control scheme. You have to go into a melee mode to meler? Looting is so wacky. I dont Understand why its so popular. Gotta me fomo from content creators shilling it.
This feels much better. I fo like that ot looks more modern, but i dont have an issue with zomboids more pixelated graphics. The controls in this game just feel so much better.
"Humanitz" is genuinely one of the single worst names for a game (or anything else, for that matter) I have ever seen.
Definitely not better than PZ but its getting there. Pz zombies are satisfying to kill, these zombies are janky.
Man.. the "running" animation sucks ass.. they need to up the speed you move at if your pumping your arms and legs that fast.. god.. it would frustrate me to no end having that kind of animation in the game.. =(

The lack of being able to pick up a heavy stick to use as an improvised club is disheartening. You're too dependent on RNG in a game where loot is artificially sparse. Also, from a gameplay standpoint, you should at least eat the food when you're at 70% or less on your hunger meter, even if you don't want to carry it with you. From a design standpoint, the player's health should slowly regen naturally over time, especially if supplies are scarce. There's too much emphasis on skulking around otherwise.
I hope this game continues to improve and it could one day come close to project zomboid, but I'm so tired of seeing youtubers pretend this game is better than zomboid in its current state.

better than PZ ? no !! but i will wait for the improvement. for now the game just like some ads game. i wonder how my PC handle horde 💀.
i still enjoy PZ because the multiplayer is fun. but if u're enjoying play solo/single player u can play this.
once again, waiting for the good improvement, the graphic is enough, and there's no meaning open world but playing alone right??
HumanitZ is a very uncommon game, yet its great overall, the visuals and gameplay are all improved and very enjoyable, hope the devs improve it more, and I'm glad they give you a dog companion by your side.
