What a compelling episode of television. The series only gets better from here on out.
You laugh too much, it kills the mood. 😁
I almost shit myself at the scene between Lalo, Kim and Jimmy for fear that Kim would get a headshot right away or something bad happens to her in general. This was the most unbearably tense scene of BCS and BB together to date.
If the show is great, then Kim is simply sensational. So sympathetic and one is constantly afraid for her. One is sad when she is sad and rejoices and gets angry with her.
The way I see the ending is that if Lalo was going to hurt Jimmy or Kim, Mike would've killed him without Gus' approval.
Really enjoying watching this again with you guys.
The fact Rhea Seehorn didnt even het an Emmy nomination is outrageous
That last scene had me SWEATING. Not many shows these days can pull off the tension quite like BCS.
Kim makes a strong case for best character in this universe. Even with Walt, Jimmy, Mike and Gus. Just shows how amazing an actress Rhea is

This was my absolute favourite BCS episode for a good while, and then Season 6 came around.
I remember where I was when I first watched this one. Very rarely has a TV show made me perch on the edge of my seat the way I did during that final scene.

Saul being scared to death that Lalo brought him out to the desert In his first Breaking Bad appearance makes a lot more sense now.
A lot of people compare Lalo to Negan but imo he’s a lot more like Savior Simon.
The ending of this episode is the best scene in this show
