Maybe someday, Josh and Cotton will pronounce "Odogaron" the right way and not the wrong way they've done for years now. But until that day comes, we can all enjoy Josh failing at using weapons in an even basic competent fashion as usual! Lore-wise, he'd be considered quite average for a Hunter whereas Cotton, who can use a lot of different weapons well, would be considered a hunting genius.

Cotton friend! If you play with mouse and keyboard, its lots easier if you have one of those mouses with lots of buttons. With an MMO mouse (the full 1 to 9 buttons) you can bind stuff to there. The KEYBOARD controls are a crime against hunters! <3

I've changed MANY buttons to be much more ergonomic. and putting slinger aim on my m4 is so much better.
Odogaron forced me to learn how to properly dodge in this game. And now it’s in my top ten favorite monsters.

no crime is pardoned when Snowball Hunter is on the job! any winter criminals will get a swift drink of snowball, on the rocks.
a warning against throwing snowballs during quests? what, do they flinch you or lock you in a hit by snowball animation? oh no.
there are also extra stairs so they can replace the blood stained ones. the janitor's on leave so they gave the work to the contractor and that was his solution.
light db, it's so ligt and fast that inputs are not required, you just do rapid tickling damage as you cuddle the monster to death
he talked about the laughing fox in a video but it was like 5 years ago. i imagine more people watching will remember the GU video where it was brought up then the amount of people that actually know that show who also watch these.
nah, i saw a video a few days ago proving that the dam trap can kill him. it was his first rathalos kill and entirely random chance.

Ill say in my maybe 6th-7th replay ive been commiting to playing every weapon at least 100 quests currently on heavy bg and man ive been missing out

I still remember my first catch of the rare Downy Crake. After numerous fruitless expeditions, I was hunting a Diablos when I heard a cacophony of twittering approaching, then AN ENTIRE FLOCK of Downy Crakes just MOBS right by me.
I one thousand percent agree that collecting rare endemic life and putting them in your mansion is the best part of World, and I will riot if it doesn't return in Wilds. I cannot stand that my Rise character still lives in a dirt floored shack without even a bed and utterly devoid of exotic pets by the endgame, what's the point of being a top rank hunter if I can't flex my enormous wealth and power?!

Hey, blowgun is great. Light bow gun has the whole slide reload which I LOVE. You just strafe around a monster peppering it with ammo, and then heavy can have the sudo block.
I’ve come from the gunner community to tell you that was the LBG icon, not HBG.

for me playing world with controller is impossible i play with keyboard all the time clutch-claw is ctrl + rightclick
As someone who messes with the models alot in blender and unity, the models (besides how fur/hair works) are identical its more the lighting in each game, The rise models are way better in general since they were able to optimize them more.

I have to agree on the keyboard difficulty. Especially when I've only ever played with a controller.
Had my Switch pro controller run out during a World session once and the difficulty just spikes midhunt.
Also agreed on bowguns being a postgame weapon for me instead of a progression weapon for me. I need a set for them to function how I want.

Would it be cheap to use the defender gear when starting? Im currently about to hunt rathalos and diablos, but ive heard people say that using the defender gear makes it easy
