I've been trying to find a story I remember hearing once about a single human ship helping out a fleet where the human ship was just a giant nuclear cannon.
It's written from the perspective of another ship in the fleet and the human ship asks for access to The superior sensors available on the alien ships, Then proceeds to snipe enemy ships well out of combat range of anybody else.
The human ship is described to have a swinging bridge To compensate for recoil.
I heard it either here or from Argo squirrel.
Let's hope that alien boys get contacted by the authorities first and are not found out by the pirates…
