There would be benefits of being this durable.
It still would have some downsides; threats less than a Dragon would not generally be lethal, so the downside of this is in most situations a person who desires to BE brave would not have any easy access to danger…to show they are brave. The other problem with immortality is potential for boredom and finding goals that would take centuries to accomplish. The phrase 'always a bigger fish' would still apply; however this works (Super Nanites in Blood?) there still would be thousands of dangerous entities that also would be hostile for some of them. Not being able to die would suck badly if your enemy captures you.
