My reaction to a lot of these stories is "lol humanity." Is it weird to find humanity simultaniously funny and heinous?
That was lucky the other being learnt how humans are crazy without needing to fund a war.

My Dad and me would keep a notebook with us when we got into heavy drinking

and I'd write down ideas while we consumed beer, port and scotch
In the morning most of it was rubbish, but a few ideas were really great and worked out well.

In the Netherlands we have pole sitting. It's litterly just sitting on a long pole. About the size of a american telegraf pole i believe. 😂

This is not as cool as another story where Humans climbed the ridiculously difficult wall; the wall changes to match each species, and Humans said "Ah you do not need to make it easier for us, we will climb that wall no matter what species it is set for." But I will listen to this again so I can write down sports I have not heard of + watch videos of them being played.

Kind of reminds me of Buck Godot by Foglio. In that scifi verse Humanity is famous for being the only race to invent Popsicles. An invention that saved 3 desert species from extinction. At least one alien race is terrified of humans, thinking we will impale them with a stick, freeze them, and eat them.
