Sucks what happened. I've been using the Apache brand cases for years. No complaints. Bing bangs, Camera equipment, RC controllers…..You name it. Can't justify the price of Pelican.
At the opening of your video saw the Harbor Freight sign, knew where this was going 🙂 I have one just like yours I use to carry 4 bing bangs to and from the range with Mags too
I have several of Apache cases they are great man but from what I understand the firearms on the plane have to be secure and can’t ba possible to bang each other se if you get that security person what don’t like guns he can make your life miserable 😡😡😡

Are these cut outs in the foam readily made or this is done at home and how ?, is there a tool to remove the foam ? (I have this that I would like to use for other applications).
i bought one for my drone years ago. Works great. Bought one that fits perfect in a backpack–>very important. just neglected desiccant pouches for moisture ..Harbor Freight is awesome, after I'm done using their one off tools (tools I'll never ever use again) i sell "my" tool on offer up rather than return it) (unethical to return).. Great video!
I have the 3800 size, and that's where I store me and my girlfriends revolvers I'm liking it! I also saw they have gun safes. I'm gonna get me one of those eventually!
As thick as the case is I would think that you could remove the pick and pluck foam and replace it with a couple thinner layers of foam and put your knives and maybe a couple of spare magazines in there too.
Derek on Vise Grip garage calls them Hobofreight! And calls Ebay, evilbay! I've bought tons of stuff from Hobofreight. A lot is junk. Some is pretty good!

What I wondered was if the foam is stiff enough to hold the pews in place. I bought one from fleet farm and it would hold A pew in place but if I out a 2nd pew in it would shift all over the place…

I have a case from them for a riffle and the case is a beast. You can't go wrong there.

They work for other stuff too. I use one of their cases for a depth/fish finder. I take unit off boat when traveling, and put in in the case.

You can sometimes get Seahorse cases pretty cheap on Amazon and they are USA made. I wonder if you could put them in vertically in this apache case.

TSA will take care of it 😂 ,my experience is that if you leave a specific gun in case for some time it will print shape the foam for that gun

I have the 2800 and it hold 4 full sized bing bangs because it allows you to have 2 layers with one layer of foam in between
