I have to include Tobacco Vanille as well. I fell totally in love with this scent and it will always have a place in my collection. I also want to include Rosendo Mateu #5 per your recommendation. I thought I knew what to expect when I bought this but I was wrong and I'm completely okay with this. It smells so sensual and sexy but unique to my nose. I love it. African Leather by Memo Paris would also be on this list. The cardamom among other notes just has a dark, spicy, richness to it that just works on a date for me. Mancera's Red Tobacco is a fantastic tobacco scent in my collection despite how potent it is. A couple sprays and it's on. Folks loooove this scent.

Love the channel but I definitely disagree about Richwood vs Coromandel. I sold my Coromandel, I found the quality noticeably inferior… Not bad but not as rich (no pun) or the depth of Richwood. Frankly, the entire Chanel private line is overrated. Nonetheless, Richwood is clearly of greater quality in my view.

I love Dior Homme Intense which—I agree with you—is a masterpiece as are Coromandel and Grand Soir. I like your description of Flamenco and Or Du Serail which I’ll try on my next visit to Bergdorf’s. Thanks for the recommendations.

To me, Flamenco is the most underrated fragrance … ever. I don’t own a bottle yet but after sampling it on skin just last week, I am left speechless about how great (and unique) it is.

I just recieved Le couvent Fort Royal, must try. Its a softer, slightly smokier and smoother ani to my nose.
