  2. Fly Mushrooms are not the same as Phlein Mushrooms, in witch you can just dry and eat and tripp , we Norwegians off course believe THAT is the mushrooms they ate, and mixed it with some Fly Mushrooms, but as they say, Fly mushrooms are so toxic, they would not be able to fight because of the side effects. Nobody today touches the Fly Mushroom, not even for tripping, it is THAT TOXIC

  3. Doesn't anybody know the difference between Amanita Muscaria, the mushroom pictured and described in the video, and what the term "Magic Mushrooms" refers to ? While the Fly Agaric shown does contain the psychoactive compounds muscimol and ibotenic acid, it is considered a poisonous mushroom. The mushrooms have to be parboiled, and are not safe to consume without knowledge, very careful preparation, and dosing. And the effects of those compounds is nothing like what are called "shrooms" or "magic mushrooms" by the subculture.
Ingestion of ibotenic acid/muscimol containing mushrooms often produces a syndrome with GI upset, CNS excitation, and CNS depression either alone or in combination. Nothing like eating psilocybin mushrooms, which are true psychedelics. Psilocybin mushrooms produce changes in perception and consciousness, but generally provide a safe and enjoyable experience, not a ride to the ER for serious problems with your GI and CNS like with Amanita. By reading the comments here, I can see a lot of people are confusing the two species, a risky misconception which has not been clarified by the video producers.

  4. Few people would be capable of fighting on a trip. Or stupid enough to try it. Soldiers were tested with LSD as an incapacitant. The squaddies ended up laughing, climbing trees, and babbling.
(ps- I have witnessed LSD etc bringing on terrible mental illness in people. It should never be recommended as recreational drug)

  5. What i dont understand is if the vikings were so brave and honourable then why is it that they were looting unarmed monks who had nothing at their disposal to defend themselves against the viking swords and shields ..why was it that when they could have easily taken the gold and silver they wanted by just threatening those monks they still went on to brutally murder them…they were so brutal and cold blooded that they did not even spare the women and children they came across during their raids..what kind of a honourable warrior takes pride in doing something that is considered so cowardly even to this very day ….. what differentiates them from bands of lowlife looters who enter a house when the owners are asleep and kill them before taking off with all their money..

  6. They wouldnt have taken amanita muscaria i dont think. On a good dose of that you lose balance. Psylocibin on the other hand in low doses will raise your visual accuity and can also releive symptoms of fear
