Hello everyone!
Today, we’re finally adding the necessary ingredients to cook Berry Sludge for the entire colony. Hope you enjoy!:)

Oxygen Not Included is a space-colony simulation game. Deep inside an alien space rock your industrious crew will need to master science, overcome strange new lifeforms, and harness incredible space tech to survive, and possibly, thrive.

In Oxygen Not Included you’ll find that scarcities of oxygen, warmth and sustenance are constant threats to your colony’s survival. Guide colonists through the perils of subterranean asteroid living and watch as their population grows until they’re not simply surviving, but thriving…
Just make sure you don’t forget to breathe.
Build Extensive Bases and Discover What it Takes to Survive:
Everything in your space colony is under your control, from excavation and resource allocation right down to plumbing and power systems. Resources will begin depleting with your first breath, however, so be sure to dig fast if you want to live.
It’s Mind Over Matter with Stress Simulations:
Keep the psychological impact of survival at bay with fun leisure activities, great accommodations and even better food for your colony. Duplicants each have different and potentially destructive ways of reacting to stress, so be sure to always keep them happy. Whatever the cost.
Avoid Boiling with Thermodynamics:
Temperature control is a constant concern in space; too cold and you’ll freeze, too hot and you’ll fry. Keep tabs on ambient environmental temperatures and your colony’s heat production to maintain a nice, cozy atmosphere for your colonists.
Enhance Efficiency through Complex Gas and Liquid Simulations:
Create interlocking pipe systems to swiftly deliver fuel and liquid to critical areas of your base. Plan well and be rewarded as your colony transforms into an imperishable, well-oiled machine.
Take Charge with Power Grid Simulations:
Choose from a multitude of power sources including coal, hydrogen, natural gas or just plain old elbow grease. Manage power runoff, circuit overloads and meltdowns to keep your colony running smoothly.
Always Keep Yourself Breathing:
Enter the Oxygen Overlay and watch air moving through your base in real-time. Monitor carbon dioxide accumulation and oversee oxygen generation processes to mold your colony into a veritable deep-space oasis.
Waste Nothing through Extreme Recycling:
Make use of every last resource for a base that truly exemplifies efficiency. Recycle waste into precious fuel, process unbreathable gas into air, or harness the natural bodily processes of wild creatures for food. If you’re clever, you might even be able to run a base off colonist farts.
Explore Diverse, Procedurally Generated New Worlds:
Summon new worlds with a push of a button. Experience tons of untamed space rocks, then suffocate to death in them!

Spaced Out DLC:
The Duplicants are back again, and this time they’re ready to rebuild their colonies from the mysterious remains of a planet torn asunder!
In Oxygen Not Included: Spaced Out! you’ll spearhead space missions to new and undiscovered Planetoids, transport resources between bases, and manage multiple worlds on the fly to build a megacolony that not only survives but hopefully, thrives.
New Multi-World Gameplay
Put your colony management skills to the test by juggling the needs of Duplicants in multiple colonies simultaneously. Switch between planets in real-time and secure rare resources on other worlds to supply your home base.
Expanded Rocketry
Customize new modular rockets to your liking, then explore the expanse of space with the newly overhauled Starmap. Huge expansions to the Research Tree provide new mid-game Rocketry options, giving your Duplicants an edge in the asteroid space-race.
New Critters
Get acquainted with some new fuzzy friends – if you’re nice, they might help you out around the colony!

  1. Do the Dupes get enough sleep with this plan? They also have to reach the bed first. Would a bath time slot before bedtime help? (Immer de huere Stress um chöne go penne..haha^^)

  2. A solution for oxygen production on other planetoids:
You could use carbon skimmer to transform CO2 and water into polluted water, which you could leave to offgas into polluted oxygen, to be later deodorised and sent forward. Use gas element sensor for that. Water is easier to transport than gases and the deletion of CO2 would also come in handy

  3. Thank you for your ultimate base oni series. It's helped me a ton getting use to the game, understanding the functioning of all the tools, and how to utilize them all.

  4. ~2:15 – There's a better lighting distribution for bristle berry generating less heat, which keeps temperature regulation easier in the long run. Specifically, use the regular standing lamp and not the ceiling light – the lamp you place on the ground. Arrangement is 4 farm tiles on each side of the lamp, and sink the lamp one tile lower than the bristle berry, the most distant light is barely enough to grow the berries. This happens to be the same distance of coverage as an autosweeper placed above the lamp. A total room/layer height of 3 is sufficient for bristle berries. My configurations are similar to the (my) first image search result for "oni easy sleet wheat farm" because I am using a cool salt slush geyser and near-surface ice melt runoff for them – -10C brine keeps sleet wheat cool in the cooling loop, goes to a tepidizer and desalinator and fed into the sleet wheat. I added automation, 2 tile height for sleet wheat layers and 3 tile height for bristle berry layer.

  5. It might be more interesting to see you make stylish bases for each planetoid rather than just have the single megabase like some others are also doing. It would be better toe xplore more planetoids just to unlock more resources and make them available. There's what, eight or nine planetoids now in spaced out DLC maps and nobody ever seems to develop the extra planetoids that I have seen. It's true that starting radiation tech is slower on the default map because you don't start with uranium and beetas and nuclear waste liquid compression is the only viable way to run a radiation rocket or diamond presses, but there's still plenty of regular materials, mostly, before you need to start mining space POI's. Plus, with pips and wild-planting food and arbor trees, every planetoid can eventually support at least one permanent duplicant who can run around and do maintenance and stuff so you don't need a constant rocket expedition for basic tasks. You might still need rockets for basic collection like metal volcanos and regolith (sand is running out FAST!), make sure to cool everything before bringing it into the rocket module.

  6. For the duplicant feeding the plants instead of the auto sweeper, you could limit which dupes can go through the doors. This way only the farmers could go in there to fertilize them.

  7. I think your ultimate farms are missing something – grubgrubs! You can put a few wild ones into a farm and they will continue to rub themselves against the plants to boost their production. What you'd need to add is a simple critter drop-off and you're golden!

  8. They don't fall asleep at a doorway because of where your sleep is. Putting it first will not work. You Dupes will not have time to run back to get to sleep. Dupes using rec buildings through their downtime is the reason they fall asleep. They don't have time to use the machines, eat and got to the bathroom so it runs through their sleep time. You'll need more sleep time if you put sleep before downtime. They'll need time to get back. It why you put downtime first. It gives your dupes more time to get back.
