  1. OK, so a price for a couchette in a 4-beds compartment in January'2024 is 140 EUR. 14 hours trip with another 3 strangers and high chances of snoring.
A 2-hours flight for the same date is 47 EUR.

No further questions for me and also no need for any greenwashing how öbb is "greener" than flying–it is not. Just greedier.

  2. Have enjoyed your videos, but honestly I have difficulty with the audio narration. Your tempo varies during the narration which makes it difficult to follow along. YouTube captions leave a great deal to be desired, especially with accents or words with more complex pronunciations. Sometimes they are quite comical. Please return to the text narration format.

  3. I remember taking one of the last ICNL to Paris. We went there for a weekend trip and it was super practical. It’s really nice to see a night train running again in this route

  4. Congratulations to OBB and Nightjet for this historic accomplishment, showing once and for all that the night trains are far from dead, that they are wanted now more than ever.
Now, on to the next battle: Revive the Restaurant Car! Bring back the Bistro!

  5. I took that Russian train a few years ago moscow-berlin-paris, just the Berlin to Paris part. It was nice but I believe you had to go to the Polish restaurant car for any food. I think it went once a week moscow-berlin-Nice also.

  6. I applaud every effort to expand rail passenger service! It makes sense to have daily night trains that, as you said, allow passengers to sleep through the night and wake up near their destinations. The cost per ticket is dramatically lower than the amount involved in day time travel plus hotel accommodations. Congratulations to everyone involved! Thank you for the excellent video.

  7. I met someone here yesterday in the Chicago suburb of Hinsdale – who knew about your model train YouTube channel but had never watched THIS YouTube channel!
We were standing in the trains + Mac magazine section at the Hinsdale News Agency.
That shop is about 80 feet from the BNSF Triple Track Raceway.
Metra commuter trains and Amtrak trains passed while we were talking..
