New information emerges about the death of an infant at an unlicensed daycareinside a South Nashville apartment.
FOX 17 News learned the baby died of a Benadryl overdose, and the district attorney’s office is now considering charges against the caretaker.
Bessie Alverto told FOX 17 News she is still trying to wrap her head around how her baby girl, Madison Alverto-Coto, died in the illegal daycare. She wants justice.

Metro Nashville needs to prosecute all unlicensed Day Cares in South Nashville, including Unlicensed Homes as Restaurants serving food, Unlicensed Street Vendors & Food Trucks.
This case needs to be prosecuted to the fullest with much publicity to educate the public. We' ve heard many reckless people jokingly say they "give a little benadryl to get a little quiet time." This story needs to go national. 💔

People need to take giving medication to children VERY SERIOUSLY. Even small doses of Tylenol and other meds can cause liver damage and even death. Giving medication is no joke and should be given very, very seldom.
