  1. There is no such thing as original, most of the games that indie games “copy” were “copies” of other games as well. What we attribute as an original game is often the first we played of its type.

    Which is why we end up with situations like people saying Bleach “copied” JJK Sakuna’s shrine when it was actually the other way around because bleach came first. Or Pokémon “stealing” it’s Pokemon designs from Dragon Quest and other mediums, then people getting mad at any other games that do the same thing (keeping Pokémon from having any good competition that push them from making better games).
