In case of an emergency landing they all have to know how much time has left until ditching on water for example. Also they are not allowed to wear there phones during the flight. When the purser welcomes the passenger at the destination, he also has to say the exact arrival time ☺️

When it comes to emergency evacuation, cabin crew must be alert. The crew must complete all safety protocols in 90 seconds. I believe this is why they wear watches throughout every day of their lives.
