    *Edit Shell Skill: it does slow you down now post patch.

    Touching the bomb item that kills everything on the screen they still drop experience/items.

    If you move too far away from a treasure chest the game now has a system that will move the chest closer to you so you can go do something else and then pick it up lateral if it's just too far away.

  2. Dan glad to see you back to this game! I picked it up right after your first video and i have been casually playing every now and then.
    Here are a few tips:
    The game was indeed a bit too easy at release but every update adds more and more things and now with the ruin level scalling things can get very leathal very fast.

    When you are hovering over a support upgrade to pick, the weapons that benefit from it will highlight and indicate how much they benefit (with green arrows).

    Indeed some chests spawn in the map from time to time, i guess its the developers way to kinda force you to move around the map a bit instead of just standing still (along with the optional bosses around the edges of the map).

    Luck improves the chances that you see more choises on level up, more items and chest drops in the map, and more upgraded skills when you open a chest!

    The optional bosses are annotated on the bottom right (0/3 in your case) so you know how many will spawn in the run.
