They messed it up by Not doing a more Beavus & Buthead similar characteristics act. The Black-comedian Shouldnt have prioritized alot of explanations of the 2 guys in similar relation to cartoon characters identity; but instead for them to, Just do the act; as though All of us as the veiwers 'where a Beavus & Buthead audence'!
This had alot of Potential for Many alternate stories; For ex.
• They Could of made this a next chapter of the cartoon; where Beavus & Buthead escaped the Cartoon world Transported to Phys. Reality; as all people in the video dont even know of them as a cartoon.
Then if a legal explanation is required; to identify any trademark rights; it be shared at begining & at the end with respect to its owners!
They've interviewed Keenan and Heidi since the skit aired. Keenan said everyone was laughing during rehearsals and gave himself about a 50/50 chance of making it through the skit live. Heidi admitted that she never got through the skit in dress rehearsals either. So she had seen the full makeup, which let's admit, probably won them the Emmy that night.

Yeah I think the funniest thing was the character break. And it made me breathe a little harder type of laugh. That this is some shining moment for snl is pretty telling. Kenan is literally explaining the jokes. Don’t get me wrong I love comedy and C.K. and Burnham have had me in tears crying. This is kindergarten stuff.

Everyone has been giving props to the extras in this scene for staying cool. I don't think y'all realize that this is a monumental gig for their resume – if an extra broke down laughing they would not be landing any more extra roles.
