For some reason I’ve not really liked the airpod pro max , I am using wh1000xm5 and compared both of them in apple store apple is good at transparency buy thats all noise cancellation and sound quality are not on par with sony, hope they make the next version more versatile
You actually can use the AirPods Max while charging and the double the battery on the beats is with anc off it’s much closer with it on
I really enjoyed the sound of the AirPods Max. But they never could make a full seal around my ears, and I don’t have large or small head. The lack of an EQ really sucks for all of apple’s products. Makes me wonder how good the monitors actually are since they’re dialed in for the Apple sound- is it the headphone quality or just a digital signature? Curious how the studio pro’s sound.

The only true knock against the Beats is the lack of an H2 chip. If it had that, I would run out and get a pair right now.
They will be replacing my Solo Pros. These are proof that Apple should have used USB-C for the Solo Pro and AirPods Max instead of the proprietary Lightning setup.
I had a pair of beats studio 3 about 4 years ago!
And it was a complete garbage

i think the airpods max are still 2 years later better looking and better and more premium than these. i wish the max had usbc and the 3.5 mm jack. but other than that. i wouldn’t switch to the beats. even tho apple owns both lol.
Kinda fucked that it only supports lossless through usb-c and caps it at 48 kHz lol? What’s the point.
The max sound amazing even at high volume, I don’t think they really compare. The beats are more an alternative to Sony and Bose, not a max alternative.
Something to note is that the 40hrs of battery is without ANC so when you run a side by side ANC comparison the Beats last 24 hours… not too significant of a difference
I’m happy with my AirPods Max. The Beats Pro is basically the little bro to the AirPods Max. The bass/ANC isn’t as great as the AirPods which is big for me, personally. I also feel there’s better and much cheaper options out there like the Soundcore Space Q45
Will these work with my iPad Air 4th Gen with wire for lossless audio sound?
they need to do a version where you clip on / clip off the top part and be able to wash it.
would buy airpods max. the top of the Beats Dre will look horrible after years trust me. i had headphones like that and the leather you sweat and after a while it looks horrible. Apple did it much better with the top also the quality stainless steel. Also air coming through from the top of airpods max.

knowing apple they might come out with an update for the beats and give them better ANC and transparency mode. i hope but i’m probably going to buy them. i have the studio 3s for a year now and i’m going to upgrade to these now!

I have no idea how successful AirPods Max have been for Apple sales-wise but if they continue make them, I'd imagine a Gen 2 version could do some things to improve upon the original. Things like better cancellation and transparency and improved sound quality like AirPods Pro 2. I'd expect USB-C as well since they're being made to use it on the iPhone. Lossless audio through USB-C would be great too.
Beats Studio Pro are definitely a good purchase for someone who doesn't want to spend the money on the Max. I am trying them out and they sound better than any other Beats I've tried in the past. I was never a fan of their sound signature but these seem solid to me. I am no audiophile but I'd say go for the Beats for every day or working out in. The AirPods Max are nice for watching content and listening to music at home but taking them out always seems cumbersome and I constantly worry about damaging them. That being said, AP Max is a more comfortable experience for me. I absolutely love the material of the cushions and can wear them for long periods of time without issue. The Beats seem way more convenient for out and about and travel though.
Over time the beats cushion will start to deteriorate and can’t not be replace like the Apple AirPod max

At least Apple gave the Beats an option to turn it off. Is the mids bad? Can we adjust it with equaliser?
At 2:00 you state that the beats turn off when folded, but that’s not the case this feature was removed on this model. Also they can’t sense when they are on your head or when you take them off to pause the music. Not a big deal but most headphones in this price range include this. Used to love the beats brand and still love the Powerbeats pros. At this time the air pod max’s at 100 bucks off on Amazon ($450) .. for 100 bucks more than the these beats you get the Apple h2 chip and all the sensors.

Y’all gott a chill, the Max’s are the best headphones ever made. If you keep glorifying other products with subpar materials Apple will give you a future subpar iteration but keep the price the same.
Yea, you can use the AirPods Max while charging and I know because I’ve done it. So, no worries there.
Man, the fact you didn’t mention which chip the Beats uses is a big miss in this review.
