In Varanasi India back in 2018 @davidsatori stayed at the burning ghats in an apartment hanging over the Ganges River and was struck with inspiration when a melody came to him. He teamed up with a local talented violin player, Sarada Prasan from the Varanasi School of Music, to record him. Sarada’s stunning improvisational playing led us down some beautiful twist and turns. We worked with the recording and added our production and arrangement to create this piece titled Varanasi. This sacred city is one of immense history and incredible depth and we are honored to share this piece of music inspired from this beautiful and ancient place.
Beats Antique is helping raise awareness and support for a School called Nanhe Sitare which is based in Varanasi. Nanhe Sitare is a coaching center for children, ranging from pre school to 12th grade. They focus on working with children and their families to provide them with education, good hygiene and help improve their lives in general.
Please share and support.
Special thanks to Videographer / Film Director, Daniel “el Suchi” Garica and producer and founder of Nanhe Sitare, Paskal Suraj Sayan for the use of their amazing footage from Varanasi.
