If they got rick to join they could have had been named beato
I really hope this comes to Australia
Rick neglected the most important question…Will Steve be seated during the performances? 😁
I got into King Crimson through Tool so my head is almost ready to explode watching this. Please let the universe deliver us a few European dates.
Those 4 are Gods choice.
Nice for Carey to sit and listen to the interview in person 😂
Bevaleca rolls off the tongue well. Silly idea
I love Fripp….not sure this will be what they expect without him. He is an amazing rhythm player – Steve is high tech lead. Should be interesting.
Four titans of music! I can't wait to see them!
King Crimson! First time in the channel.
Thank you Rick, this one was amazing! music is really the magical universal languaje
This is awesome! They are going to be going to Moncton, N.B. here on the East Coast of Canada with is only two hours away from me. I'm really hoping I can make it over there.
what's that book steve vai is talking about? is it available? AMAZING INTERVIEW!!!
Whoaaaaa
"What could possibly go wrong?". Made me laugh. All these guys are genuine geniuses and the material is so complex.
This is going to be one helluva show to catch.
I don’t think I’ve been happier to see a lineup of all star musicians. I CANNOT WAIT to see what their chemistry is like on stage!
Check out Rick Beato….little guy is schmoozing with superstars. We need Rick Beato!
Wow, I just felt my IQ growing up exponentially. 🤯🤯🤯😎😎😎
Fantastic interview, Rick, kudos!!!
Incredible line up, an absolute dream, a record perhaps ?
I love how Steve talks about Robert Fripp
Wow. What a lineup.
😊 absolutely great sit down with these legends. I was a guitarist in a couple bands in Vancouver BC 1978 to 1981. Talking Heads came through town, our bunch were so hyped, and loved the show. I left Vancouver and headed to Los Angeles. Those were the daze!! 😉
I hope "Walking On Air" will be included on that tour.
41:18… Maybe he's talking about the other version of "Matte Kudasai"?… I agree with Adrian, sounds a lot better without those extra arrangements that Fripp added. Glad that Robert decided to validate Adrian's judgement on that song…
When he says Miles Copeland is working on their production, is that Stuart Copeland’s brother?

Another great interview. I'm not terribly familiar with the music of King Crimson. I guess I'll have to give it a listen now.
This interview is totally off the Rickter Scale !
Rick I know how proud of your Pat Metheny, Peter Frampton, Stave Lukethier interviews but this breaks the bank. No one else has the knowledge, ability experience, or confidence to be able to do this. I just watched Bob Marleys document One Love and found thinking to myself "man I wish Rick had done this") I know you sell your musicsal educational stuff to support you channel but maybe it time to let someone with vision to give you a shot.. no-one does this the way Rick does.. THIS JUST BLOWS MY MIND!
I am beyond excited about this project! Absolutely love King Crimson, and Tool is one of my all-time favorite bands (I'm seeing them live next month). I hope that BEAT will tour Europe some time in the future. I want to see that! Thank you for this interview. Like all of the interviews you do, it's a real trip.
Adrian Belew has the greatest resume in music history
Another great addition to the Beato canon, which is headed for the Smithsonian imo. I was lucky enough to catch the “Beat” tour in Los Angeles at the Greek and it remains in my personal live music pantheon. I’m so glad this music will be heard live once more. PS—Mostly the vocal pieces, yes, but guys, please don’t forget “Sheltering Sky.”
For the sake of the rest of the world, I really hope they make and release an official album/BluRay recording from this tour!
Fabulous talkshow!!!
My respect for all of you!
