A move action is an action, no?
Oh yeah its straining the rod 😉
Please PLEASE PLEASE oppsoe the OGL 1.1 changes that are trying to be made. You are a large part of this community and it would be tremendously helpful if you could help.
1:16:49 Bonus action – fart
Way too much cross table talking in this episode. Every time they take a bit of a break they come back forgetting to stay in character and end up using information the players have but the characters wouldn't.
To be clear, Aeor didn't destroy the world, the gods did during their little fight. You can say it was Vespin's fault, but really he was also corrupted by a god
Sam's porn stach just works for this episode..
Also I love how we just gloss over half the group is outside butt nekkid.. Again.
And I shit you not, i was just working on writing a scene for a book where two characters discuss a secret organization they made to find and kill gods, and had this episode on the background. Then, the lore dump happened. Goddamnit Matt, now everyone's gonna think im copying you.
50:05 Great improv by EVERYBODY during the "porno" plan, but Sam with the "No touch!…" reaction and Ashley's "intimacy coordinator" follow-up were SUPERB!
i know its ludinus, but am I the only one who hears lewdness
Orc, Orc, Orc!
I feel this episode will produce fan artwork that will never be shown.
If they don't mention the OGL next episode I consider them complicit. Even if they have an NDA all they have to say is "I'm not at liberty to say". If they don't do this I consider them an unfortunate enemy and a capitalist sell out. I hope for the best and expect the worst
Fuck Wot¢ and Ha$bro! Cancel DnDbeyond subscriptions, only thing they are watching to gauge how destructive their cash-grab/content-theft OGL1. 1 is!
Hit them In the pocketbook!
May the Hound eats the OGL1.1!
Just want to tell Critical Role and Geek & Sundry, that if you cut a side deal with WotC for a new Game License and leave the rest of the community high and dry, then we are done forever.
I just wanted to say that I just finished Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire and it was amazing! Talison really nailed it as Eothas.
guys……songs cringe this campaign, so the intro clip, fix it up for next week thanks
So my issue with this episode, which is why I thought Ashton should get Turmoil, when Chetney activates his crimson rites, he has to cut himself with the weapon. Turmoil is silver. Shouldn't that have done double damage?
I knew this day would come, but I wasn’t quite ready for it. After a year and a half, I have to wait for the next episode to come out.
Just a reminder that Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro are attempting to kill, stranglehold, and control any and all third party D&D content across the board. This affects everything from Pathfinder to Critical Role to Dimension 20 to even games you wouldn't think would be affected because of their attempts to change the Open Gaming License. Also a reminder to NOT HARASS the cast and crew of Critical Role over this. They likely have chosen not to comment or are unable to comment on the situation due to possible NDA's. Remember at the end of the day they are still people who have to make hard decisions for the sake of the show and their employees, and that you can still show love and support for them.
That's all.
Not impressed that they're still sponsoring for DnD beyond. Hopefully it's just contractual
Funny episode
REMINDER: Absolutely do NOT subscribe to DND Beyond, reputable leaks have shown that WOTC is using DND Beyond subscriptions as the primary metric by which to measure community backlash over the OGL revisions. CR is likely still under an NDA and has preexisting contracts from before this went down that they are beholden to. Until CR is able to speak up about the situation, err on the side of defending 3rd Party Publishers like Darrington Press and CR, who will be absolutely FUCKED if this OGL releases. Vote with your dollar, do not subscribe to DND Beyond, cancel your subscription if you already have one, and make your voice heard that these actions by WOTC are unacceptable
Given that Capital One is the new sponsor, I feel like I have an idea what the CR team thought of the OGL1.1 Debacle
Seems like we're entering the ME2 loyalty mission phase. Ashton doing his own thing, FCG having a hankering to delve into his origins… We did Laudna's and Chet's already, that just leaves Fearne, Orym, and Imogen.
I think after all the campaigns I've watched. Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, and Marisha Ray are single-handedly ruining this show. In all 3 campaigns, Marisha has made an annoying character that doesn't know what to do when she really only does 2-3 things every round in all campaigns. Ashley just sounds like she's just woken up from a comma and has no idea what words are or how people interact with one another. Taliesin just plays the same character, even when he's reborn and remade. The only people of value on this show is, obviously Matt, then Travis, Sam, Laura, and Liam. The other 3 make me cringe and I hate seeing them continue to show up for each campaign.
Just my opinion, but it really makes all 3 stories hard to listen to. The others make it worth while for me.
As professional voice actors, I'm surprised that those 3 can fuck it up so much.
Switching to Paizo the new ORC license????
Every episode I get more and more worried that Matt is going to tell the same campaign story as I am running and do it better than I can ever do
Fucking Ludinus. I knew that arse would come back to haunt CR again.
I noticed you have disabled comments and chat in your latest live stream. I noticed you have refused to weigh in on the side of the "people" in the current OGL debate. It's pretty clear you stand with the corporate greed crowd. I'll be unsubscribing. I won't watch your show. I tell others not to as well. All your shows and IPs I'll let them know you are just now another corporate entity only interested in cash.
31:38
Principles or convictions sometimes require sacrifice. Companies raely have either, CR has claimed they do…let's see.
Sorry OGL.. Goodbye.
Why haven't we heard your stance on the DND situation. This is honestly sad. You have made a family and a community on dnd but you won't speak against the mistreatment of it. Disappointment isn't the word. The loudest voice to save our game and we hear nothing
So it seems that the main enemy faction in this campaign is an army of fedora-wearing Redditors. That is, if fedora-wearing Redditors were an actual threat.
Sooo are they not going to abandon DND beyond as a sponsor be cause of the whole OGL thing going on
Go ahead and delete this. OGL 1.1/2.0….where do you stand? $$$ or support the greater community?
