  1. For the dog portion this is what I’m thinking (before they took the quiz):

Jake golden retriever (always happy, no thoughts, always making a mess but it’s expected and everyone still loves them for it)

Ellis- boxer ( weird side eyeing everyone, looks aggressive but is calmer then you’d think and screams from time to time)

Cath- pug (strange medical problems and barks when a different dog or person are trying to speak)

Alex- greyhound ( strange, people don’t know how to approach them,no one know what their truly thinking)

Gabby – American pit bull ( sounds intimidating, actually very loving, but get out of the way when they’re excited because the will bump into you at full speed)

Nick – King Charles spaniel ( people person, gets a long with everyone, is really sweet, thinks they can be intimidating)

This is in no way meant to be hurtful, this is more of a meme comment, and focusing on their strange quirks and vibes. Truly love all the hard work you guys do, you helped when I was recovering from a really tough surgery two years ago

  2. The part about doing something that you feel you want to do but don’t actually do it hit me hard. I’ve not long just turned 21 and pretty much since I turned 18, I’ve been setting high expectations for myself, and I feel I should stop doing that. It’s exhausting, I’m always second guessing myself, like I want to have a job but in a way I think I’ve convinced myself to not apply for jobs coz I feel “mentally unfit”, I know the opportunity is there but I want to break my cycle of convincing myself “ I’ll never get a job because of my mental health state and the disabilities I have”, I’m feeling limited from what I’ve told myself

  3. Jumping on from what Ellis said about the confirmation bias about the helmets. I think I'm correct in saying that there was also arguements in WW2 for putting more armour on planes, because they were returning from patrol with hulls riddled with bullets, not counting the fact, until someone poited it out, that these were the ones making it back to land. They might have argued as well that they should actually be putting more armour where there weren't bullet holes, since obviously the planes that were hit there weren't coming back. Survivorship bias I think is the term

  4. So what Gabby is talking about around the 50 minute mark is standard "Corporate Development", and it sucks; ask me how I know. It still doesn't suck as much as working for EA though, from what I've heard.

  5. Don't give up on a hobby or a dream just because you have to overcome some barriers to get started. That is terrible advice! Some hobbies can begin in minutes. Others require a lot of thought, research, and financial investment that maybe you can only achieve after years. If you do really want to do it, eventually you will at least try it – but don't write it off now based on Ellis' opinion.

  6. What on Earth is going on behind Cath on that computer is that Nick I'm happy that whoever it is is using the dark theme on their Windows 11 installation and why do they keep on opening a notepad application and closing it and watching either YouTube, 1917 or Pirates Of The Caribbean or whatever it is which probably is also Pir4tED <=(done on purpose to avoid YouTube's cr4p filters) I also hope it is 1917 ohhhh mAN!!! I love that movie

  7. Not saying anything for the passing their school one is fair enough, they could've been unable to come do so if it was on school time. But not saying anything when you're literally serving them a drink in a bar? Come on, that's pretty silly. xD

  8. That games trial and error thing and from of humble beginnings story also happened to Don't Starve. Indie game by Klei, small team, lots of heart and hard work. The game almost didn't made it back then, but almost 10 years and a lot of updates later, it's still a hit to a lot of player especially its second base game Together.

  10. My friends and I where walking down the hallway one time. There was a silence because no one knew what to say and then my friend says “imagine if while I was having sex I just started making Michael Jackson noises.” We all died of laughter while making Micheal Jackson noises for like 20 minutes after that. The jake skeleton sex reminded me of that.
