A world where Russia wins isnā€™t exactly one where humans live freely or have much of a right to self determination, mass arrests of protesters with 15 year prison sentences, the beatings of minority groups by gangs paid by the government, the highest rates of violence towards women, the most homeless children in Europe, the highest AIDS rate In Europe, all held together by a tyrant who kills his political opponents and anyone that makes him look bad (even his close friend in Wagner), their secret police where spotted dropping off a bomb that kicked off the second Chechen war, outlawing gay representation by labeling it a ā€œterrorist organisationā€

    And yet people defend it becauseā€¦? Seriously how? Because America bad? Because west evil?
    that justifies an even worse, more hateful, more fascist, more ethnocentric, more violent society?

    That justifies starting an imperialist land grab?

    That justifies the mass rapes, the mass slaughter of civilians, the torture, the destruction, the mangled bodies, the children that died not understanding why they are dying?

    Because what.

    Nazis?
    American imperialism?
    Seriously?

    You can look at all of this and say itā€™s fucking justified because the west is bad or because the invaders are calling them nazis when the invaders are using PMCā€™s named after nazis, just built new statues of nazis, yeah Iā€™m sure they donā€™t have a fucking agenda

    Itā€™s genuinely pathetic that you think this is justifiable in any way

  16. The channel in Chasiv Yar is not a big obstacle, it is about 19m wide and not very deep. in many sections it could be bridged by an MTU-90M bridge tank if needed. But this canal has sloping banks. Every Russian IFV can swim so they would cross the channel even without a bridge. Furthermore, in several sections, the canal is run in pipes underground, and on the surface it is possible to ride on a grassy surface. The channel is not a significant obstacle. More dangerous will be the minefields and defensive fire of the Ukrainian army.

  21. I think Russia recognizes that it will be extremely difficult to keep the entire Ukrainian territory under their control in case of a complete victory.

    It's possible that Russia will annex the entire Ukrainian territory to the east of Dnieper River allowing Russia buffer zone for Moscow & Dniper river was a Natural Boundary.

    Russia can then shift Its focus on creating problems in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, Maldova & Azerbaijan.
