  1. What pisses me off is the fact that there was NO mention of all the different nationalities of pilots that flew along with the Brits to win that battle! Americans, Poles, Czechs, French, etc. You Brits think you did it all by yourselves! If it weren't for these men, Brittan would have lose this battle and the war would have ended with you all having to learn to speak GERMAN!

  2. Sir Winston Churchill said it best: "If the British empire lasts for a thousand years, they'll still say "this was their finest hour"". God bless you, Sir Winston Churchill & God bless all the men who fought so hard to save the British empire. 🫡 🇬🇧 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️ 🇺🇸

  3. I worked for the US Air Force at their mapping center in St Louis, Missouri in the late 1960s. I was a newly trained cartographer with four or five other guys and what we made were named photo mosaics. The photos were enlarged to the proper scale and tied to control on the ground. These photo mosaics were constructed over the Soviet Bloc countries in Eastern Europe and into European Russia. The photos we used had been captured by Allied forces when Germany was occupied. Germany had done photo reconnaissance over most of the countries they occupied or intended to occupy. We used those photos in 1969 to make photo mosaics over Ukraine, European Russia and other countries.
