ABOUT BATMAN ARKHAM SHADOW

Become Batman in this official new entry into the Arkham franchise.
It’s the Fourth of July, and Gotham City is under attack by a new threat: the mysterious Rat King and his cultish devotees. As widespread rioting engulfs the city, Batman races to prevent this so-called “Day of Wrath,” but it all goes wrong.

  1. I know that these guys worked hard to make their company and all, BUT they need to create a new one RIGHT NOW and develop a full arkham game, these dudes know what they’re doing

  2. I still think a conventional Arkham game would be better cuz VR is just super unimpressive when it comes to immersion and combat, free roam etc..but they seem to have genuine love for the Arkham Series Soo I could be surprised, holding out hope😌

  3. I wonder if during predator sections, the game will let us actually use our arms to actually get thugs In sleeper holds…or full Nelson's…or will allow our takedown to be as soft, or brutal as we deem fit

  4. Amazing video, thank you! Hoping to see a #3 for sure.
A question that I'm wondering: How much do you need to know about the Batman Arkham series in order to understand the whole story of Arkham Shadow?

  5. I am personally super excited for this game. I mean, it might be a tiny bit disappointing or maybe another tiny bit, but moderately disappointing that it's not a console game because most people in the world who play games only play console and not VR. So, most people who are into the Arkham games or superhero games are going to have to invest in a Meta Quest 3 just to play one game. So, it is a little bit disappointing for that, but nonetheless, I'm excited for the game. I just got done investing in a Meta Quest 3 just in time for the Arkham Shadow game, so investing in that game will be the next thing I do. I'm excited to see the gameplay on August 20th and to see where this game plans on going and if this sets up maybe another Arkham game for both console and VR, or how this sets up another possible solo Arkham game for Batman.

  6. This game is either gonna be the next great arkham game or the next "batman: dark tomorrow". This is a incredibly ambitious game and it reminds me of the development of that game. That studio was fans and tried to do the biggest and best batman game on gamecube. Not trying to be that guy but I'm just being realistic after SSKTJL. I'm praying for there success cause this could be the game that pushes VR to be actually taken seriously

  7. The biggest complaint about Assassins Creed Nexus is the combat, and how restrictive/scripted it feels. I’m hoping the game hasn’t gone too far in that same direction. If you see clips of a good player and a new one, they shouldn’t look the same.

Overall, really hyped, the team is definitely passionate which makes me happy.

  8. at first i was skeptical about the combat system but i really think it makes sense for this game. i don’t think a physics based combat system wouldn’t really feel great or recreate the feel of the arkham games

  9. i can respect their attention to the past Batman games but it’s truly disappointing that it’s only being released on the meta VR , it could’ve been great for sales if it was on consoles and pc as well

  10. They really don't need to invent new systems for the franchise. They need to build up on the older systems. We need a non-VR game

I mean don't get me wrong, they are really passionate about this game and i absolutely think that they will succeed in what they are trying to achieve here. But it's really sad to see that it's only ever going to be a VR game. Only a handful of ppl who got their hands on the Oculus Quest 3 will be able to experience this and the majority of gamers won't even bother to buy them, let alone for a single game. Game has potential if it's on a different platform is what I'm trying to say
