Those medicinal plants are probably better suited for turning into biofuel for the generator that can power the mass fabricator instead of just recycling the medicinal plants. Great progress and great video

I saw a game you and the girls might like. Its still early access I believe. Its called a township tale. Its a VR resource gather, crafting, and there is enemies as well. You basically gather and build a town together. You go deep into the mines. Still being updated and built. You would probably enjoy it however.
Your running around with an axe, naked, covered in blood.. reminds me of the forest 🤣

Being under water should auto clean your hands. Also you said the bears are bullet sponges , then killed it in 2 shots. You did not react oddly so I could not tell if 2 shots was the standard sponginess?

GameEdge scroll further down in the upgrades of the refinery to make the better efficiency. The two slots waste a lot of energy, and solar panels only give you a little without efficiency upgrades
What I found the most interesting about this game is when you start playing it or return to it years after your last run, it is so hard to spot the fiber plants and other things. But at a point you can spot berry plants or carrots/onions or locked crates from so far away. At least that is my experience.
Great to finally see the fridge get built. Now that you can stock up on ingredients you should get the oven to make preserved emergency food. I still want to see the wind turbine, I'm curious how much power it produces and if there are things that effect it.

In my 1st build i found sandstone, kelp and clams mostly in the warmer months. Dont forget to upgrade the fridge so that it takes less power. Cool video!
lol looked like you missed a kelp as you were talking about missing things .. maybe it was a rock or something you are the one spending hours in this world..
June 20 raft gets update
Get rid of your useless stairs and replace with either half slopped wall or full slopped wall. Saves space and no issues getting and out of the water. After all the hours you've played the game why on earth do you use foundations with those ugly and annoying legs on water? Use ceiling panels or glass if you have the material.
I found two issues with the fish traps. First you can only catch small fish, and crayfish in them, and second I put multiple grubs in them and lost them all due to them de-spawning after about 2 in-game days. The animal traps de-spawn as well so don't put to much bait in those either. The animal housing is way worth it. The amount of resources and the food obtained are well worth it.
Grats on the fridge 🙂 In your lake, I always seemed to find that if I harvested the kelp, pearls, and sandstone it's a random what will spawn next. If I cherry picked the lake then I barely got what I wanted. I have no idea if that is a true mechanic of the game but it happens too often for me to ignore it 🙂

One question when you went back to the areas people pointed out in the videos in the game had you reloaded the game because it randomizes the loot which means it's going to be gone when you check

Your question about a time of year to find more clams well I wonder if it has to do with the whole months that start with an R for eating shellfish thing. So I would be curious to see if you see more clams/oysters starting in September!

Sticks are better for mass than leaves. Leaves should be used for animal traps and fuel. And later when you have plenty of nails n stock, quarter panels are excellent mass.
Collecting all the items in the pond causes all to respawn. ColdGames seems to have sped up the respawn timer, so check more than twice a day if you have time. Underwater ore also seems increased. It is definitely harder to see pearls and ores in the new area. 🙁
Athena Autumn did an analysis of the timing of the loot spawns in a recent Youtube video. It's an interesting video.
Rabbit meat is better than chicken; it increases your stats. Also, burned meat for mass is a great idea now that you have so much rotten meat.
I've just started watching this season so binge watching them. Not sure if it has been fixed but critical used to have a flight of stairs with 3 solar panel on each level and the next level direct below each one and another they overlap a bit but still all received full sun
