  1. The difference between interviewing a wrestler who's in the ring now versus a guy who was in the ring 20 or 30 years ago is staggering! The guys today are so much more well put together, well spoken, everything… but I'd say that on average the older generation is so much more interesting lol. Those guys are such characters and the vibe they have is so different than today. The guys today are so impressive as human beings, but they don't have that edge. Maybe we will get to see the other side of them in post retirement shoot interviews. Until then though, old guys rule!!! 😅

  2. I've always liked Baron Corbin as the lone wolf and that theme I Bring The Darkness was my favorite theme and him going back to NXT was good because like he said he can reinvent himself or bring back the lone wolf what's old is new again

  3. We all do girl math with what we're into. For example, I bought a collectible Goldust figure the other day and paid about double what it would cost at retail, had it just come out. I justified it firstly because Goldust, but secondly because I sold some stuff the day before for more than half I spent… So really it's like I got it on sale for less than retail. #justified.

  4. I loved hearing him talk about protecting finishers, it showed that early on he had a good understanding of the business and a willingness to put others over.

If done well, the first time someone kicks out of a finisher can be momentous within a match itself or the overall story/angle.
