  1. Yeah, we had to deal with the mites for our cattle too, dipped them too. Good pick for song of the day, I like it and listened to it a lot back when it first came out. Also dealt with a tree limb falling on the fence today, took out about 15 to 20 feet of fence, barbed wire only for us. Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a goodnight and Sunday too.

  2. Cole and Brian, just wanted to pop in here and say I had a delicious dinner tonight of Sonne Farms sirloin steak! It was great! I think you should keep more of the herd and sell them yourself in the future, if it’s not too difficult.
As to the snow build up around the chute, don’t you have a flamethrower? Certainly that would melt the snow and would be a lot more fun than shoveling.

  3. Hey Brian & Cole! I never miss an episode! I am celebrating a milestone birthday in February, and it would be a huge honor to have you consider naming a calf after me. Your calving season is a highlight of my winter – all those little ones are so cute! Thank you for sharing your life with us. I appreciate all the hard work you do.

  4. I’m amazed at the number of cattle they can manage with just the two of them. It’s fun to watch the efficiency of their setup. Good work.

I can’t imagine that kind of cold….i get into 20s and I’m out there busting ice in water troughs.

  5. Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian.
    It was interesting.

Busy day for you and dad getting ready for calf season to start.

You ran those cows thru the chute in good time without any problems. Good show.

Suppose you want the cows back out on the corn stocks to eat now that it has warmed up.

You have been busy with lots of fix it items after the bitter cold. Brian gave the new waterer a vote of confidence for not freezing up. Good deal.

You ran those two hundred head thru the chute real quick to treat for the itch. Good job guys.

Ready to go for the calves it looks like. Trust you will have a good season again. Get you 2024 calf name book ready Brian.

Thanks for everything Cole. You both take care and be safe.

  6. I remember when that song came out! I was a kid back then and me and my sister would dance "hai karate" style (lmao) to the song to our Dad. LOL I gotta call my sister tomorrow and see if she remembers it.

  7. Cole, I'm in the process of replacing windmills with solar submersible systems.. For long-term use I'd Iike to use tire tanks like you showed a couple videos ago. My question is how do you seal the bottom of the tank where the bead is on the tire?

  9. Hey Cole, you were mentioning that your Clean up pour on was expensive at 335$. I just paid our bill for that and its 685$ cdn! Looks like same jug too even with exchange its quite a bit more. Might have to run down to Storla station next time!!😂 love Brians song of the day, I sang that song a few years ago at a local talent/fun night. Dressed up for the part also, had the crowd roaring 🤣.
