Brian, if your impressed with those drinkers they have to be good! Do they auto fill?
Have you ever been trampled by one of those critters?
Yeah, we had to deal with the mites for our cattle too, dipped them too. Good pick for song of the day, I like it and listened to it a lot back when it first came out. Also dealt with a tree limb falling on the fence today, took out about 15 to 20 feet of fence, barbed wire only for us. Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a goodnight and Sunday too.
Cole , what about deer season ? You didn’t hunt any this past season ? Or did I somehow miss that show ? An what about the mount of the nice deer from last yr ? , awesome shows , keep em coming 👍👍👊
What brand of pour on do you use?
You guys take such good care of your cows. Reason for success.
So you sold the girls and bought some boys, good job Brian. Are they all pure bred Angus?
Cole and Brian, just wanted to pop in here and say I had a delicious dinner tonight of Sonne Farms sirloin steak! It was great! I think you should keep more of the herd and sell them yourself in the future, if it’s not too difficult.
As to the snow build up around the chute, don’t you have a flamethrower? Certainly that would melt the snow and would be a lot more fun than shoveling.
Looking forward to the calving season. love your song of the day
Hey Brian & Cole! I never miss an episode! I am celebrating a milestone birthday in February, and it would be a huge honor to have you consider naming a calf after me. Your calving season is a highlight of my winter – all those little ones are so cute! Thank you for sharing your life with us. I appreciate all the hard work you do.
Y'all need a hand cabin

I’m amazed at the number of cattle they can manage with just the two of them. It’s fun to watch the efficiency of their setup. Good work.
I can’t imagine that kind of cold….i get into 20s and I’m out there busting ice in water troughs.
Thanks!
Love watching you guys work..😂😂
low rider gets a little higher lol
You both take good care of your cows and the farm
Best time of the year is coming soon !
I don't know why but I really like seeing a sound guard Deere on the sonne farm.
I know the song but can't name it 🙂
Clave music should’ve been the song of the day! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian.
It was interesting.
Busy day for you and dad getting ready for calf season to start.
You ran those cows thru the chute in good time without any problems. Good show.
Suppose you want the cows back out on the corn stocks to eat now that it has warmed up.
You have been busy with lots of fix it items after the bitter cold. Brian gave the new waterer a vote of confidence for not freezing up. Good deal.
You ran those two hundred head thru the chute real quick to treat for the itch. Good job guys.
Ready to go for the calves it looks like. Trust you will have a good season again. Get you 2024 calf name book ready Brian.
Thanks for everything Cole. You both take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
That clave music sounds a lot like beginning of the song "Low Rider" Aloha from Hawaii!! 74 degrees today!!
Please name a female calf Cleo after my mom who turned 89 in January. Thank you!
Sounded like the beginning to Lowrider in the outro.
You shore as shit got them bloody gates and alleyways working good Col RIPPA ROCK ON FELLAS
🚜🚜
You two always leave me smiling. ❤❤
I remember when that song came out! I was a kid back then and me and my sister would dance "hai karate" style (lmao) to the song to our Dad. LOL I gotta call my sister tomorrow and see if she remembers it.
The corn stalks are frozen. Why on earth would any animal want to eat frozen corn stalks?
Cole, I'm in the process of replacing windmills with solar submersible systems.. For long-term use I'd Iike to use tire tanks like you showed a couple videos ago. My question is how do you seal the bottom of the tank where the bead is on the tire?
🙂
Being the same age as the bossman i remember the song very well, all prepared now ,got the stroopwafels in stock? Thanks for the video and have a good day greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Brian & Cole, u make my day when you post a new video. Hard workers & entertaining, yet informative about raising stock & growing corn & soy beans. Good videos show the love of family & faith.
Sonne farm relies on quad bikes for moving cattle in the pens and out the fields, in fact they are invaluable nowadays.
What were you using before this dogs, horses?
Sometimes if i aint that interested in the same old cows & snow etc
i read the comments & some i think are either youngsters or totally wacka follie all good fun anyways yah all come back now yah ere! tee hee
My wife really likes this time of year at your place. Claves!!! Where is the old Farmall? Hope its in a shed somewhere.
Hey Cole, you were mentioning that your Clean up pour on was expensive at 335$. I just paid our bill for that and its 685$ cdn! Looks like same jug too even with exchange its quite a bit more. Might have to run down to Storla station next time!!😂 love Brians song of the day, I sang that song a few years ago at a local talent/fun night. Dressed up for the part also, had the crowd roaring 🤣.
C-l-aving season is always fun to watch, here we go!
Love Brian's song of the day, my era of music.
New follower and enjoy them
What was the brand name of the watering system you well like?
As a long-time subscriber, my husband would like you to consider ‘Ignatius’ (his grandfather) for a 2024 calf name.
How can lice live in those frigid temperatures? ? Thank you for sharing. 🐂
What is the name of the blue waterer with lids that you just installed? Thanks for a great wideo
All I could hear when the claves started playing was "Low Rider" by Foghat.
Grinding – – I assume its because the final product is different, but why do you hire out the grinding of hay when you have that very powerful looking gringer cart?
Not sure but I thought I heard some of them coughing
