The Bangkok MRT recently opened a new line – the yellow line. This is a monorail line that is automated (no drivers). To reduce traffic amongst the eastern corridor along Bangkok, the opening of this metro line is necessary to facilitate the traffic. There is a 1 month of free train rides, and following that, there will be integration with the Rabbit card system.
I remember that my first time visiting Bangkok in 2017, there was not much metro connectivity. Now in 2023 the metro has significantly expanded and I no longer need to suffer in traffic as hard. This trend will probably continue throughout to 2030 onwards.

I miss KL rail systems are more integration when compared with Bangkok. Touch and go made me more convenient there!
