HumanitZ is a co-op, isometric, open world survival game in a world ended by the zombie outbreak. As one of the few human survivors, try to last as long as “humanly” possible. The past can’t be changed, but you can make a difference today for the future of humanity.
A zombie outbreak wiped out civilization as we know it. Hordes of zeeks gnawed their way to the top becoming the world’s apex predator. A few years later, regular humans are an endangered species, with isolated pockets struggling to survive in this new, unwelcoming world.
Welcome to HumanitZ, an isometric, open-world survival game, where you can try to make a difference and put humanity back where it belongs – at the top of the food chain.
Will you gamble on cities and the loot there knowing hordes of zeeks might be around the corner? Or do you try to survive off the land in the country, through hunting, fishing, and farming?
Explore a vast, unforgiving world! From untamed wilderness to dense urban cities littered with drivable vehicles, the dynamic weather system will keep you on your toes.
Survive together! Grab a rifle and start foraging on your own or have someone watch your back in cooperative mode for up to four players!
Live off the land! Pick through the ruins of the old world and scavenge resources to survive. Or take to the hills, set up a farm, hunt game, and catch fish to try and avoid the shambling remnants of humanity.
Robust character customization! Design your chosen survivor with perks, stats, and a huge selection of firearms and other tools.
Craft and build for survival! Utilize an extensive crafting and building system for whatever is needed to survive, from gear to consumables. Then, build a safe house, fortify a base against the zeeks, or turn a burned-out house into a new place to live.
Defend against truly menacing zombies! Not all zeeks are slow and stupid. Adapt and improvise against numerous zeek variants or you’ll risk becoming zombie fodder. Looking for an even greater challenge? Try your hand at Permadeath Mode…if you dare.
Defy death! The apocalypse claims everyone, eventually. If not through a zombie’s maw, then through hunger, exposure, treacherous terrain, or other people. How long will you last?

Is it possible to do a takedown on the stronger zombies? Might be worth it instead of taking 5+ swings at them.

there are boxes of nail that need to be used to get the nails, also I tend to find them in Garages
I am curious if the equippable bags despawn. You could potentially drop one at the base and pick up another. More storage.

Hi Josh, I'd love to see you keep playing this! I found a ton of nails but they are on the ground in garages mostly. They are like little mini cardboard boxes on the ground, that you can open in your inventory to get the nails out. Hope this helps! 💜

Nice to see you continue to play this game! Remember to check Garages for nails, using a crowbar as a weapon is great for doubling as a way to get in locked areas (only needs tape to repair it) ammo is a valuable commodity and you should save each one for more challenging foes. Great episode! EDIT: you need a hose, funnel and empty gas can to siphon gas from vehicles, so its not that you couldn't get the gas, you just didn't have the tools
Hey Josh, I have not played this one yet (looks good though) but since its like PZ, maybe try using the handsaw to breakdown furniture? Might get some nails that way too maybe?
One day future generations will ask us all "Where were you the day Josh learned how to play a game?" I will tell them eating breakfast while I watched him play Humanit-Z…😂

Never played this game before but could you get nails out of the wooden fences?
With the shear amount of time spent looking for nails, he probably came across the necessary materials to make a workbench(probably not really) to make the nails that he needed.

You can find them in crates in the hardware store. Also they come in a box you have to open.

I'm pretty sure you salvage nails from stuff with a tool. Try beating up furniture with each of the tools. I'm certain that's how you're supposed to get them.

How to tell something is set in 'Merica… the character casually throws all trash on the ground. The setting doesn't really look much different than a lot of major cities in the States with how much trash is around already.

What Josh didnt learn is in character creation, he was suppose to choose a job to give him in game bonuses, but now hes stuck with the unemployed status which gives him no bonuses at all.
Screwdriver on furniture may make nail baby boxes.
This game looks like its going to be great.
Josh, all Survival cars, has useful loot ammo and guns.. ( needs lock picks) to unlock 😉
