The Coast Guard announced Tuesday night the suspension of the search and rescue efforts for six people who went missing after a container ship struck Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge.

  8. This is just an awful tragedy and the reason they gave (loss of power) as to why this happened is just unacceptable and all those responsible should be held accountable. Sending prayers and healing to all the loved ones of the victims. 🙏🏾

  17. Idk what ppl expected if youre in a car and your in the water if youre not trained specifically to excape a sinking vehicle its veey unlikely you survive. Cars arent airtight so there is very very little time to act. Added that this was ik the dark andnin cold water it was never realistic in terms of finding survivours.

  18. Loss of power is NOT AT ALL a plausible explanation,they have security that cost upwards of 2 million a yr to protect against pirates,but THEY LOST POWER????No warning no nothing, this BS but these idiots in the media refuse to ask an plausible questions aswell,WTF!!!!

  22. STOP BURYING THE GODDAMN LEDE HERE! The bridge didn't just "collapse" on its own; a FUCKING CARGO SHIP CRASHED INTO IT! This is NOT a "failed infrastructure" issue to blame the city, state or federal agencies on; this is a "navigation mishap" issue whose blame rests with the shipping company!

  25. I can just say I live near this traggic ACCIDENT !Coast Guard Base Curtis Bay is right there and they know what they are doing. My dad us retired USCG he worked many a SAR case.Prayers the divers are safe

    In 2002 14 people lost their lives including infants and children when a barge in the Arkansas river hit the I-40 bridge in webbers falls Oklahoma. That wasn't enough proof theres issues even then?

  46. PLANNED!!!!! It’s all planned to slow the economy. Suez Canal ship disaster, chicken farms burning in flames, other farms burning up, I heard port in California not releasing goods so they can keep the inflation going, and now this container ship crashes to slow more the economy. It’s PLANNED!!!
