  1. Ooh ahh look at the bridge collapse, oh look at the clean up process, ooh ahh we're going to rebuild it, none of this is my Federal Governments responsibility, what I want know is how will this affect our supply chain!? Why aren't you preparing citizens for possible shortages!?

  2. Just wait — this is going to turn into Water-Maui. They're going to put curtains around this part of the bay, won't answer any questions about what they're doing, but you'll get $600 to keep your mouth shut, or else…

  3. Ship was sitting in harbour for two days experiencing constant outages. Head office told them to head out to Asia like that because mechanics cheaper there. Ship didn't make it far, not even past the first bridge. Indian company. Joe Biden then said when he was conceived it was an accident.

  4. Nobody is talking about how it was computer controlled and there is no "man made functions" to stop it by a actual person. Let's keep putting our faith in computers, machines and A.I.

  6. Questions. While in port is there not a dock master controlling the ships in an out? For as a kid in the 50s/60 s we would always see the ships coming an going. An there where always tugs escorting the ships. An dock master would control that docking coming an going. So if that ship had problems at the dock 48hrs before leaving it wouldn't have been not allowed to go on it's own? They would maybe with tugs moved it so other ships could get to the dock. An with that much tonnage you must have a better control. Safety First an security.

  7. Why the USA don't get one of the world's largest ship cranes equipped to lift the broken pieces of the bridge rather than the tedious task of cutting it into pieces. This job would have been completed days ago. The USA could use Heavy duty Lifting Vessels like the HLV Svanen(8700 tonnes, the SSCV Thialf Dutch Vessel with a lifting capacity of 14,200 metric tons, or the Chinese Zhen Hua 30 with a lifting capacity of 7,700 metric tons. There are cranes that can fit the scope of this job and complete the job in a short time.
