  2. Original White European settlers of America, founded a Great country and built ALL the Great Infrastructure of America.

Now post 1965 we have a Diverse country with people from all the third world countries coming to America and becoming citizens, with that now everything is collapsing, Plane parts are falling apart,

Trains are derailing in large numbers and bridges are collapsing.

with America losing its original roots, it seems the old America is collapsing and along with it, its once great infrastructure.

  3. Are we beginning to understand why gutting infrastructure bills for political points is a bad idea? This was entirely avoidable. This bridge has needed to be updated for the past decade but when you have to choose between maintaining roadways and fixing bridges we fall in favor of keeping daily commutes and supply chain access flowing time and time again. It saved a few bucks to eventually kick back to Forbes and Bezo again though so it was surely worth it, right? This isn't a gotcha, we all need to demand more from out leaders. Period. It isn't one side or the other specifically pandering to the super wealthy. It is every president, every member of congress, every member of senate. Anyone wearing a suit at our expense is expected to bend knee to the richest amongst us because that is how they get paid and this needs to change. It is the difference between our friends and family going on to live fulfilling lives or winding up trapped in a car at the bottom of a river to cut a few corners at the bidding of some corporate exec or ceo.

  4. Man… It occurs to me that the Cargo ship could or should have deployed any rafts or lifeboats that they had available. They’re going to have a lot of explaining to do.

  5. As some have said.
Isnt it odd the all of a sudden the power came back on just in time to do a hard right rudder move which just happened to line the ship up with the leg of the bridge and then the power went out again. But hay were suppose to belive what the news tells us. Thats funny.
And the fact that sleppy joe and his band of flying monkeys were there within hrs. It took wks for them to show up at the chemical spill in Ohio. Months for the ass in charge.
Things that make ya go hmmmmm
My heart goes out to all whom have lost their lif and to the families.

  6. I want to hear the mayday calls made. They came up with a cause way too fast. Ship lost power and just happened to drift into the bridge pillar. I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe somethings are orchestrated. This was all too convenient.

  7. technically the bridge was seriously under supported, if one pillar gets knocked out and the thing collapses its a weak flawed design….1-2 of the pillars should be able to be knocked out and it should still stand…if a bridge is so dependent on one single pillar to support it it is a bad design

  11. The continual gutting of our tax dollars for corporations and the wealthy is coming home to roost. The 2017 Tax cuts were just the latest in the long line of tax cuts for the wealthy that have been going on since 1981 when Reagan championed supply side economics or Reaganomics. Nothing much trickles down from the wealthy who get 99.9% of the tax cuts revenue.
