A defector identified as Park Sang-hak used 20 helium balloons to send Covid-19 supplies into North Korea from a city in the South on September 5, 2022. The shipment was sent weeks after the sister of the North’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un had warned of a “strong retaliatory response” to such packages that she claimed were to blame for a coronavirus outbreak in the reclusive state.

Covid is coming from SK. Think about it. NK is lockdown regardless of covid or not. There is no way covid can get to NK if no one is really allowed to get in. Anybody that got in are detained. So where else can the virus come from. Only foreign leaders and these packages.

It's a great thing that people have humanitarian mindset above politics but sadly previous incidents of spying as well as spreading offensive pamphlets etc had them get extra serous and on the defensive. Sad that people have been divided by politics and religion even after going so much down the years.
