The first major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 has just released with over 1000 fixes and more to come in the future. They have eliminated issues like NPCs who sometimes spot you when they really shouldn’t be able to, floating items like mugs and newspapers that should abide the laws of gravity, and the conclusion to Shadowheart’s romance scene not triggering for some players, among others.
Patch 1 also tackles a few visual bugs, and sprinkles on more post-launch polish.
They are also bringing back the Short King Summer with better kissing contact for short races!
They also mention that there wont be a long wait for patch 2 which is right around the corner.
That update will feature significant performance improvements – but they will also go into more detail about that closer to its release. Which sounds like they are trying to get it released before the PS5 version comes out.
Something to keep in mind is there will be spoilers with these patch notes so I would link it down below, if you want to read through it by yourself, but otherwise I’m going to go through it.
