1:08:52 The game doenst think you helped the people from the grove because talking to zevlor is what flags the “save the tieflings” quest as complete. A consequence of trying to go quickly for the sake of a let’s play. I think you could be a tiny bit more thorough without taking much more time.

You don’t unlock Halsin being able to join your party till later
Without spoiling anything big you have to work towards fixing the shadowcurse before you can recruit halsin. He won't join you as a playable/usable companion til afterwards

Your play through ends up being rally interesting. I'm currently really pissed w/ the fact that you've listened to that shadow voice over the gith, but what it ends up opening up is a cascade of encounters & exchanges where series & layers of Gith are trying to show you the right way
It ends up making the story line much much richer – it's hard to believe Larian put that much work into this but that's just the case. It takes that much work to work a game like this that powerful
It gives it's own spirit, sort of speak

The Druid is not bugged out (it's in Act 2) but the responses to the blood of lethander is – if you pull the scepter without the crest in the socket a trap will trigger where the big contraption on the roof will point downward and threaten to blow the hole place up and this is what your companions react to … strange
I think there may have been a way to do the blue jay quest where you take out the winebelly gnolls rather than the eagles. cut off eagle food source and they move on.
what happened to the lantern the drider was carrying? the element inside can give you a permanent buff to avoid the shadow curse.
Maybe the game glitched regarding the Grove and Zevlor… or maybe taking the long rests caused the progression of the story and had them leave without hearing back from you… As long rest does push the narrative forward 🤔
