I at first thought Wyll was in his late thirties and was one of the older companions like Gale and Astarion but taking his backstory into account that can't be. His dad didn't become Grand Duke until ten years ago when the Bhaalspawn MC of BG1&2 bit the dust(thx WOTC) and Wyll mentions growing up being expected to go down a similar career path so TLDR Wyll is in fact younger than I thought.

Revivify only works on people that have died within 1 minute. so in the case of the wife, she's likely well passed that restriction. however, I feel the same. would be nice if you could bring back npc characters from the dead with resurrection or revivify if within the 1 minute timer. could be fun to blow up someone with some smokepowder and then see what they have to say after you rez them lol

I was giggling at your reaction to the party members moaning and groaning about the smoke. Sometimes those voice reaction lines are waaayyy over the top for the situation at hand, like all the grunting when climbing up and down ladders.
