From what I know you cannot meet them near Baldur's Gate, so if anyone met them, let me know.
You might want to check your camp supply's to make sure non of the pig parts have become people parts. If you throw a bag of fire bombs does it act as a big bomb?

Polymorph and Wildshape in 5th do about the same thing. Gives you a new form with it's own hit points.
