I had a rescue when I was a kid who was terrified of kids because the home he was in before us had kids who abused him and the parents wouldn’t do anything about it and if he retaliated at all they would punish him so when he came to us he hated kids and my mum told me to be really careful with him so I sat down on the floor and my mum let him in the front room he came running straight up to me jumped on my chest and started licking my face and ever since then hes been my dog and I’ve trained him to be good with everyone not just me now he’s a soppy sod and can’t get enough strokes 😂
